I'm seeing...wait for it....a back issue

"We were very concerned before the game," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said of Bailey. "Not surprised at all that he missed the field goal. Thought that was a pretty good time to check it out. Might not have wanted to try another one during the game -- a long field goal. There's no question that he had a limitation there."

Even when Jerry makes a sentence that is generally discernible, its still a bunch of nonsense. The guy has literally forgotten the English language.

I think the transcription is too blame, reads better if you take a lot of the periods out and insert commas.

I don't think that's the biggest back issue we should be worried about.

Keep your eye on Tyrone Smith - the combination of a bulging disc and the fact we signed tackle Emmitt Cleary is a sign we should very concerned moving forward.

With his money he doesn't care, and why should he?

I too am worried about Smith. I don't see him coming back before the bye....at the earliest.

Jerry is talking about an injured player again?

So either one of two things is going on here. One, Jerruh is confusing Dan Bailey with Tony Romo. Or two, Bailey will need a spinal reconstruction in the next 3 days.

Yeah and I think that may be optimistic too. Something to keep an eye on for sure.

Hate this for Bailey and our team. Hopefully the most accurate kicker in NFL history doesn't lose his mantle because of back tightness.

Was the HC surprised he missed? I wanted them to go for it. It was 4th and 1 and everyone pregame was talking about Bailey's back.

Smith said there's a "good shot" he plays this week and that he feels much better

Man - that's good news. I hope he stays healthy although I gotta say Green did a pretty decent job. He's going to be okay.

I'm not as worried about Smith, Green played decent, and I never view it a bad thing that a young inexperienced player plays well and gains much needed experience and playing time ... especially this season.

Even with Romo I doubt this this team was a playoff team...still needs defensive improvement.

I'm worried about Smith, just because it's a bulging disk. Bulging disks are not good for football players. We're going to need him against Philly and some of these better teams that are coming up.
