I remember Cassel's first game in for Weeden. He threw three picks also in a loss and everyone thought he was great just like they think Moore is now, because "at least he moved the ball".

Our QB situation is so bad we think bad is good. Sad.

Wouldn't be surprised if Moore follows the same path as Cassel/Weeden as well - he steadily gets worse as the games go by. Lucky for him we only have 2 games to go so he will probably not descend to the pathetic levels of the Casselweed duo before it's over for the year.

True. He went through his progressions, got rid of the ball quick and saw the blitz. Unfortunately, he forgot that there were two deep safeties twice in staring down the receiver he wanted to go to. This is correctable though.

He did look calm in the pocket. It's the one thing I noticed. Cassel looked like he expected to get hit on every play.

Cassel just looked like he had mentally checked out. Like he was shell shocked. Which is weird because it is not like he has got his head caved in this year in regards to pressure.

Unfortunately, I expect Dallas to win this meaningless game I will be attending. Buffalo's offense is pretty bad. Both OT's are coming off really bad performances against a Washington team that also dropped a 40 bomb on that defense. Rex is in full It's all my fault mode. I bet Moore plays a little better than last week. 80% chance of rain though.

I fully expect us to be competitive in that game, but the odds and Garrett are against us being able to win it considering recent history. Considering that a loss is better for us than a win nowadays, hopefully that will hold true ( even though I admit I will not be able to help rooting for the win as the game unfolds - just won't be able to help it ).

Moore's 3 INT game is considered a success because he's a young QB who just got his feet wet in his first regular season NFL game and he made some good throws. When a young QB throws 3 INT's mistakes are expected so you focus on all the good throws they made and the upside they have along with their potential for getting better.

The main thing that caught my eye was his ability to make quick reads and throws. I know there's more to the QB spot, but it's a start.

Yeah, I thought it was really silly to consider what Moore did a success.
But having said that, him starting this week is one of the main reasons I'll watch the game.

Ditto, lol.

Don't think he'll pan out, but makes the next game interesting at least.

The main thing I noticed is if his first read wasn't open he looked to his second. That's an improvement over the last two.

I disagree, I think he looked panicked in the pocket. That's why he resorted to throwing the ball to the defense.

Again, I disagree. Buffalo is going to kick Dallas' butt all over the field. Dallas is going to make the Bills look like Super Bowl contenders.

Even if we win with Moore at QB, depending on how we win the game or games. They still need to address QB in the off season.
Moore can be the same, 1 TD, 3 picks, but what if the Defense has 4 picks, 2 for TD's, and a few fumble recoveries. That is on the D. But people will say it was because Moore was in the game.

just a different perspective if we win.

The only sure thing is, I will be drunk at that game.

Its even funnier that people who have watched a million football games can only see the stat sheet and not see the difference in a qb that looks like he knew what he was doing and see receivers looking re-energized. He may just end up a journeyman qb but that is a step up from what we've had.
