It's just about what you'd expect from the Cowboys' wildly entertaining, slightly crazy young tight end. His first video features Bennett busting a freestyle rap bragging about having "Jerry Jones money"[/URL] (while wearing a Cowboys helmet) and includes a bunch of words that aren't allowed to be used on this here blog. He has another R-rated rap titled, "Google Me" on his ******* page.
Hey, what do you expect from a goofy 21-year-old millionaire who doesn't have any professional obligations right other than to work out daily? But I did call Bennett to request that he tone down the language in his raps.
"I shouldn't cuss that much," he admitted. "I've been listening to Too Short too much."

I also requested that Bennett do a remix of his Texas A&M classic, "Throw Me the Ball, Coach." I'm sure the Garrett brothers would love that.
He might be the best rapper ever to play for the Cowboys, which isn't saying much. That title is currently held by Deion Sanders, and "Must Be the Money" was pretty bad.
Oh, yeah, you might see a Must Be the Money remix on Marty B TV soon. Why would he do a remix of a bad song?
"I'm going to do it better," Bennett explained.
Wonder when we'll see Jason Witten on Marty B TV?

This is really sad.

Hostile mentioned that a member of the team had done something rather embarrassing that hadn't come to light just yet, but the organization was aware of it. Then the great Marty B's video emerged this afternoon.

John Garrett did a good job staying on this young guy this year. Bennett didn't get the ball enough, and when he got it, good things happened. He should get it more next year, I hope. Bennett did a great job blocking, too. The guy is a freak on the field. He's very, very gifted. His talent is off the charts.

This is disappointing for sure. You can't baby sit these guys 24-7. At least, he didn't act like a fool and get arrested. He will learn. He's the least of my concerns.

If you want to get everyone's attention, you know what I would do. I will leave it at that.

I mentioned in another thread that I wouldn't punish Spencer yet because I'd want to give the team the entire offseason to see what kind of character I had on the team and then slap them in the face day one of camp. Basically let them think they got away with murder all offseason and then shock them the first day. At this rate, every player will be suspended week one, but at least we'd know which positions we needed to fill.
