I'm calling it: we make a trade with the Rams.
A good organization, as part of it's preparations, goes through all the posible combinations prior to the draft. They then are not taken by a situation they are uninformed upon. Then all efforts are at maximizing the benefits for the team.
Jerry is going to be praying the phone rings when we are on the clock. That is a good chance we trade down. No way we trade up however.Jerry Jones will soon start talking about the possibility of trading down from the No. 4 pick. But he'll also mention trading up. He wants to send a message that he owns this draft.

#4 draft options...
- Option 1: Take a QB.
- Option 2: Trade down for as many draft picks possible in the top 50.
- Option 3: Take Ramsey.
- Option 4: Take Bosa.
- Option 5: Take Elliott.
Elliot at 4 isn't an option for the Cowboys according to most sources (mainly DC.com crew). Especially with some ok rb's available in later rounds, and next years apparently insane rb depth. I'd think option 5 is Myles Jack

If Jerry isn't bluffing about drafting someone at #4 who will, compliment Tony the most, then that could be Elliott. A dominant running game would give Tony the best chance to win in 2016. No one defensive player (draft pick) will have a greater impact than Elliott. It's not what I want but it is a possibility.
I do not like Jack at #4; he is coming off an injury, his work history (play-making ability -- tackles behind the LOS) is incomplete and he is not a pas rusher. Ramsey or Bosa would have greater impact but not as much as Elliott. My first choice, though, is the QB.
I don't think people have a problem with Elliot I think its picking him at 4. He may very well be worth the 4th pick but if we are talking about a league that doesn't value running backs to where guys like Demarco and LEveon are found in the 2nd and 3rd rounds? It makes far more sense to use a later pick on a running back especially since you spent all year telling us anyone can run behind this line.
What do you guys like about BOsa for those that have seen him play? Just curious. I see a guy who doesn't have the athleticism or speed to be a consistent double digit sack guy a year. I see a guy who is great at stopping the run. But am I using a 4th pick in the 1st round on a run stopper?
Shariff Floyd for example
I have a problem with Elliott! With Jerry he is a real possibility. Jerry could very easily see a premier back behind an all-pro line prevent Tony from having to carry the load. Anything is possible with Jerry except maybe trading away all the picks for a free agent pass rusher. But then again....
Is he an all-pro talent? Probably not. He would make this team better, though. Not significantly better but better. I'd rather have Ramsey if they go defense; this kid can be all-world with a solid front seven in front of him.
What are we getting in return? A 3rd round pick to switch?
