Some gems in there.

Jerry is king of leading how the offense is set up. That's explains a lot.

On being happy with the evaluation level of Weden. Pure delusional thinking.

Clown show.

My main thing from this is "God-forbid, if it [injury to Romo] was to happen again and we were to have bad luck two years in a row."

Seriously there is never accountability with these folks. Everything is luck or injuries or whatever and never..."hey we don't get it done." It frustrates me that Garrett is also a serious problem and yet they consult with him and somehow things go wrong again. It's like 3 blind mice.

During an appearance on 1310 The Ticket, Jones was rather noncommittal when asked if Hardy was going to return.

“If you were to say, ‘OK, Greg had six sacks in 12 games, would you have expected more than that?’ The answer to that question is probably yes,” Jones said, via theDallas Morning News. “But at the same time, he affects other players on the defensive line.

“We’re a little early in the game to be bringing final decisions to the table as to whether a player really performed in a way we feel like he should have performed. Should we bring that player back, should we not bring the player back? Those are all things to discuss over the next two to three weeks.”

Of course, it’s more than just the sacks or lack thereof, there’s also the extreme amount of maintenance required, as coach Jason Garrett had to meet with Hardy numerous times, with emerging reports of teammates who grew tired of his “perpetual tardiness” and the lack of consequence.

“That’s the full body of work,” Jones said. “Those are things we will get our hands around when we give the evaluation. There are many things that go into the evaluation. There is one, performance on the field. Two, what kind of guy is he off the field? What’s the medical outlook? Those are all things that will factor in not just to Greg Hardy, but any player we have on our football team.

“As Jason has said many times, we want the right kind of guy on our football team. We will continue to look at that and continue to strive to have the very best men and players we can have.”

That’s about as equivocal as you can be about a guy they so staunchly defended a few months ago, and talked openly about committing to.

Dallas has been reliant on Jason Garrett to he detriment of Tony Romo and everybody else in the organization.

It's their fault they now rely on Tony Romo to bail this travesty of an organization out..

I love how they feel that Weeden can do some things, AFTER proving in Houston that he can do somethings...

Makes them look like they know what they are doing...

Pretty clear that this was a one year show me deal and resigning was contingent on production, mainly sacks.

Hardy didn't deliver.........only 3 sacks over the last 9 games.

Conclusion..........Hardy gone, not worth the headache and bad PR for such low production.

my God, my God....the frustration that someone named Jones has all of the say with this team...

...here is a ridiculous thought: what if tony romo plays the lottery and wins the $1.3B jackpot this Wednesday and never returns to football...what on earth does this FO do then? they won't be able to say "awe shucks, Tony got hurt so everyone gets a pass"....

We have to get either Goff, Lynch, or Wentz out of this draft............we cannot go into next season with Romo, Moore, and JF/RG3 as the QBs.
