the guy who wrote that fans will be clamoring for the backup as soon as romo throws his first interception -- did he watch this season at all?

in fact, has he watched *any* season that romo has started?

fans haven't clamored for the backup QB in dallas since drew bledsoe played paddy cake with the ball in the pocket until the inevitable sack, over and over again.

$5 million a year for MO..............................HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I kinda stop reading when I got to that part................no picks this season and never more than 1 pick in any previous season.

Yea, I am dishing out 5 large for that.

Ya no way. Especially with his injury history too. Time to just cut bait.

Who is "Show Pony", Beasley? Why?

I believe it's inspired by this picture of Beasley:

I would let both Carr and Claiborne go. Take their 19m in cap hits and spend it on Weddle, Hardy, Fairley and RMcClain

Let BJones and OScan play CB and draft another CB in the 3rd or 4th. A zone guy.

Love to have Mo Claiborne, Rolando Mclain and Hardy back, albeit really cheap and incentive based.

If we don't I 'm not sweating it.

Excellent recommendation...................I would have no problem with doing that.

Myself, I hope that both Carr and Claiborne are both back, but with good 'Cowboy' contracts in hand.

You are assuming fans have common sense memories longer than 1 week.
That "might" be giving them too much credit.

There actually exist numerous Cowboys fans who say Romo is not a top 10 QB in this league when healthy.

So let me get this straight you think just drafting a CB in the 3rd or 4th covers your needs heading into the season with BJones and Oscan.

You have no idea if Scandrick will be the same guy and I guess you missed all the reports of Jones being a full time safety.

I understand the reasoning behind moving on from those other 2 but you are going to have to use a lot more resources than a 3rd or 4th round pick.

I guess you would just be fine with B.W. Webb as a backup next year.

I would love to see them answer a real question like, "Why does Jerry suck and when he is going to get a clue and retire?"

If claiborne didnt have the injury history, hed be getting something like that 5 million suggestion after this season. People laughing at it are pretty short sighted. He'll have an opportunity to make something like that.

If you're going to pay big money for players, why not pay for guys who are stable?
