what excuse will it be than for Jason Garrett to still be HC (since he didnt reach the SB or have any post season success again)?

Just curious.

Maybe that's why he stuck with Dak? You know, to buy himself more time and say we are a "young" team.. That will be the excuse from here on out and fans will say " even though we are one and done again/ 8-8, we are close and will compete for superbowls for the next 1,0000,000 years with this young team"... I've seen fans buy into that line of thought recently.

They were lucky in the first game. No great formula. Just plain luck.

Not sure it was as much about luck as it was about Zeke and Dak being rookies starting their first game. Both had a little trouble finding their groove, especially Elliott.

Elliott played well in the second game, but Prescott didn't.

My question is does Garrett take exception to being outcoached by a muppet twice.

That actually made me laugh Alexander. Not for the knock on Garrett but for the shot at McAdoo. I see the Swedish Chef every time I look at him. LOL!!!

I don't buy into that theory that the Giants had the blueprint to stop Dak. The Cowboys were on an 11 game winning streak which was going to end sooner or later and the giants were fired up to be the ones to do it. 1 game. The Giants offense was equally as bad that game. Dallas was a missed 56 yard field goal away from OT. And the way both offenses were playing, it might've ended in a tie.

The Giants didn't do anything special on defense.

They just ganged up on rookie.

Next year will be different!
