Bandwagon fans. They are EVERYWHERE. However, they've been a little quieter this year.

Also, I am convinced that there is just a massive breed of Cowboy haters in Texas, who buy each opponent's jersey, and go to every game lol

No, just apathetic locals and then some rabid fans who can't afford it.

Dallas is a transient city. There are tons of people here from all over the U.S. When teams come here that don't come often, those fans take advantage to see their team.

This is happening at all stadiums these days, except places like Pittsburgh that nobody wants to move to or visit.

There is nothing stopping Cowboys fans from buying the tickets though.
