Mort was just on 103.3 and he bristled at the idea that he reported that Parcells and Jerry have talked. He insisted that they have not.

He said he simply has sources in Valley Ranch that confirm that Jerry has considered the idea of going for McFadden, and knows that Barber would have to be included in an offer like that. He said Parcells has not asked for or insisted on Barber, because they haven't talked about a trade.

He said he expects that Jerry would talk to the Miami people at some point just to see what kind of interest there's be in a deal, but that hasn't happened.

Even Galloway had to admit, "Well that kills a lot of the speculation we were having earlier in the week."
Thank God. Let's stay put and try to find some good players, hopefully at corner and wideout or even rb.

Some source:rolleyes: Jerry is considering the idea of going for McFadden? Really? how is that new news mort?

And why would Jerry be so sure that MBIII has to be included in an offer? If BP has not asked for it, why does Jerry think that it will be necessary?

Another ******** article..

Last time I checked, Hamlin got what he was worth in the open market. People were afraid to take a risk on him, and Dallas was not. It had nothing to do with Hamlin getting chump-change. If anything, Dallas took a risk on him, not the other way around.

Hamlin coming to the Cowboys had absolutely nothing to do with Bowles. The only reason Hamlin knows Bowles is because Bowles was the secondary coach when he was with the Cowboys.

And how is Flozell Adams a Sparano guy?

Maybe it's just me, but Hamlin didn't exactly make me forget Darren Woodson. I thought Hamlin did a very good job, but I think part of it was that our past FS play has been so shatty that anyone back there doing something that resembles decent FS play is going to look better than they actually are.

I thought I was the only one that felt that way about Hamlin. He played well, but not great. I guess like you say, given the play of our safeties before him, he was what was needed. I'd like to re-sign him basically because the options through the draft or free agency aren't that good, not because he's some all-world safety.

when you consider the disaster we have had back there up untill this season, and the fact that we are stuck with Roy for the forseeable future, then getting Hamlin back frankly becomes a MUST. Its reall smart to talk big about some rookie, but the fact is we need Hamlin back.

With that being said, burma, what is your opinion on Zbikowski's prospects in the pros?

Yeah. She's cute. At least from this distance.

And anyone else think that Tim looks like Rothlisburger from the back?
