Two players, one undrafted the other drafted in the top 10. The undrafted guy missed 12 games in the last 2 seasons due to a freak injury on a kickoff. The top 10 guy has missed 17 games in the last 2 seasons for a myriad of injuries. One was actually productive when given the opportunity, the other one still looks like he's trying to figure out how to play in the NFL. Guess which player CZ celebrates as a great depth signing and which one they're pushing out the door

Most of them do.

Teams even know and don't really care. It's only a concern when you get caught with it in traffic or by testing. I mean they give you a month's warning to stop as testing starts on 4/20.

I completely support "natural" medication over them getting addicted to narcotics. I read ya.

Radio here in Seattle says they are offering him 3 years 12 million.

For a guy coming off an ACL? If I'm Dunbar, I might jump at that.

Over the last couple of years, 3rd/4th round RB contracts are in the 4year $2.5M-$3M range.

A 2nd round RB will probably be around 4 year $3.5M-$4M range (on average).

While he'd probably ready to hit the ground running (literally), it's hard to justify even $4M/yr for a 2nd/3rd string RB in Dallas with needs elsehwere.

I'm not kidding when I say this, but I don't even think he's worth half that. Heck, McFadden isn't getting half of that and that dude actually performed.

Dunbar leaving via free agency would definitely mean we need to bring in a new running back.

I guess there's no interest in Alfred Morris. Signals the idea that the Cowboys like a back in the draft to pair with McFadden, and possibly will find the 3rd/4th string back either via late rounds or UDFA/camp.

If Dunbar plays a full season for us (big if, I know), he'll easily eclipse 70 catches and play a huge role in our passing game.

In 3 games last year, he had 21 catches. That's a pace of 112 catches in a season. He offers a key ingredient in our 2-minute offense which directly led to our game-winning drive vs the Giants in Week 1: the ability to TORCH linebackers out of the backfield.

"He sucks! Offer him the vet minimum and move on!!!" You guys are hilarious. I bet Romo's hoping like hell that Lance is back.

Isn't this the 3rd time he's torn an acl?

Depends on how Dunbar's contract is structured.

McFadden is getting $2.15 million and can earn a $31,250 per game bonus.

Dunbar's contract could be structured in a way where he receives $2 million this year, $4 million next year and $6 million in the last year with just a $3 million signing bonus. So Seattle essentially could pay $2 million for him this year and $2 million to cut him next year, or if they like him either pay the $4 million next year or restructure it over a longer period.

Does testing really start on 4/20...who came up with that date? Sheesh...
