He ranks us at 16 and the Giants and Philly in the 20s. Skins are at 11.

I guess I can't diss that much although I don't agree with the rankings. Of course almost everyone gets this wrong this time of year.

Let's see what the rest think.

"rankings" is the silliest thing. Ranking may be important to Alabama, but means nothing in the NFL. Playoffs determine who the best teams are. Who cares what the press thinks?

Many don't. I give these a quick look at times to see where they are compared to me not that that matters either. Always a few teams rise from the depths and occasionally a few at the top who free fall. I thought it might drive some conversation and it does have pictures for those here who don't read well.

Meaningless list, but I still read it. So I guess it served its purpose.

I know these list really don't mean a whole lot because they're really hard to predict, but I still like to read them anyway.

Its interesting that he believes Denver is the best team in the NFL, when honestly I think they're barely a top 5 team. SF or SEA are the 2 best teams in my opinion due to their physicality on defense and their hit in you the mouth running game, especially SEA.

As for his NFCE rankings, I think he slightly over rated the Commanders at 11(should be closer to Dallas), while slightly underrating the Giants at 21(should be closer to Dallas), and the Eagles at 24 are about right, so are the Cowboys at 16.

Teams he under rated
#28 Arizona (Carson Palmer will keep that team around 7-9 or 8-8)
#22 New Orleans (Drew Brees will keep that team around 9-7 or 10-6)
#21 Giants (Even with all the injuries, they're still a playoff contender)
#18 Minnesota (Went 10-6 with poor QB play and their QB will only get better)

Teams he over rated
#8 Indianapolis (They're not a top 10 team, too many flaws)
#1 Denver (You don't lose your best defensive player and not feel it - Still top 5 team)
#13 Detroit (I like them, I think they will have a potent offense, just not sure they're #13 potent)
#11 Commanders (Are they really a top 11 team? I'm not so sure they're the best team in their own division)

Just 1 year ago they (like everyone else) predicted the Redskirts to finish last in the NFC East. Oops.

These lists at the beginning of the season are useless. I don't think you really know what kind of team you have until about the 4th game.
