It has not been announced which procedure has been selected, done on Wednesday.

His recovery time is from four to six weeks, and ready to proceed with the off season following the draft.

Did anybody really think they would still be screwing around with this in March? Bone was rebroken on Thanksgiving.
Give it 8 weeks to heal puts it at the end of January, upon further examination and in thinking of how to strengthen the bone a couple of options were explored, now here we are. That doesn't sound completely unreasonable to me. Is there something important he needs to do before the mini camps begin?

I don't think this is really all that unusual. I had a buddy who broke his collarbone twice in college playing hockey and they waited months after his last break for the bone to heal before they went with the plate. He finished out his college hockey career (well, he eventually tore a knee ligament).

When he is being "held out of Mini camps" or doing very little work with receivers, you will be telling us "well, he just had surgery so what do you expect"

The excuses never end

This is what I think we will hear.
Also the recovery time will be just before the draft. so I am sure we will hear..

....the surgery is fine, Tony is doing great, expected to start throwing soon. So therefore we do not need to draft a QB....then when OTA's start we will get the...we are taking it slow and Easy, will not throw yet in practices....

Good. They also need to develop some shoulder pads to take stress off the shoulder when he lands on it, too.

On issue, the Cowboys won't be backing off from telling the truth on Tony Romo.

Tony will be fine for the entire off season, even at this point...so what is decided upon for the board rankings, will be the route most likely taken...even with trades.

I used something similar to that when I was into motocross. It was more for neck protection, but the negative was that it could increase the risk of breaking your collarbone. But dunno if that was disproven or the design has changed in the past 5-6 years

I'm SURE the doctors and trainers will have told tony by now that NOTHING "ensures that it won't break again"

He needs to learn to fall properly
Unfortunately that might be an issue because of his back
