Commanders CB Shawn Springs is listed as questionable with a calf injury originally suffered in the third quarter of the Commanders' win at Texas Stadium.

T.O. prepared as if his longtime adversary will play. He's battled Ron's son 10 times in their careers, dating back to when T.O. was a 49er and Springs a Seahawk.

T.O. has had a couple great games against Springs. He beat Springs for two touchdowns in a Monday night game, including one that he famously celebrated by pulling a Sharpie out of his sock and signing the ball. T.O. had his best game as a Cowboy (eight catches, 173 yards, 4 TDs) against the Commanders last season.

But Springs has also won his share of the battles with T.O., and he roughed up the Original 81 in September.

"He's a big corner," T.O. said. "He's going to try to play physical. Obviously, there's a little more physical play when they have coverage over the top. They spend a little more time wrestling with me at the line. I've just got to do a better job being patient and getting some releases."
