The final 53 -- for now

Here's the Cowboys final 53-man roster, but it could change in the upcoming days and the team may be at work looking to deal. Two players that made the cut might be candidates in CB Alan Ball and OT James Marten, they were seventh and third round picks respectively last year....

My guess is McQ and/or Ball are going to Miami.

So,

1. for all that preseason work including 4 preseason games, we ended up adding first rounder RB Felix Jones, 2nd rounder TE Marcellus Bennett, 4th rounder Tashard Choice & OG Montae Holland in a trade.

and,

2. on defense we added first rounder CB Mike Jenkins, 5th rounder Orlando Scandrick, ILB Zack Thomas & CB Adam Jones via a trade.

Of course, we also allowed a lot of players to leave (Jones, Davis, Thompson, Reeves, NJones, (also a FB--name escapes me), cut TGlenn & traded a few others away (Fasano, Ayodele & Ferguson).

3. And, of course, we also resigned several starters including Adams, Newman, MBIII, Hamlin & TO. Can't remember the other player we resigned on same day as Newman & MBIII.

I'm guessing Oglesby. He played very well in preseason and has the most trade value of those players who probably will not contribute much this year.
