"This is probably the worst I've ever thrown during a minicamp. The fans should probably save their money instead of going to games because i've also seemed to have lost a step or two. The news from my eye doctor isn't very encouraging either. And is it just me or have defensive players literally doubled in size over the past couple years? Okay which one of you trainers are in charge of my Happy Pills?"

Has honesty ever been inspiring? I prefer hope no matter how improbable.

So are you saying Romo is being dishonest?

I'll rest my back for a week......

Why did you write "I'll rest my back for a week" when Romo never said that. There's no quote, yet you invented one to create something to facepalm about.

There's a difference between a quote and some writer's take on the potential reason for a week long vacation.

What are Tony Romo's plans?

Take a week off to rest his back and then right back to work.

I believe Tony said this to the writer....if you wish to make it a trip to Disney, go for it.

My take is that if Tony actually said "to rest his back" it not only would have been in quotes int he article, it would have the the focal point of the story. Not only that, we'd have "Tony needs to rest his back!!??!" all over Twitter. Tony is smart enough to say nothing about his back to a reporter (unless he saying it feels fine). You don't offer up even innocuous nuggets like that in this day and age. This was typical reporter embellishment.

Glad to hear. What I'm looking forward to seeing is how his body responds to a direct hit where he lands on either shoulder. Also, it's time he learned to throw the ball away. It's going to annoy us, but he'll live to see another day.
