I just don't agree.

The Raiders are a bad team. I'm not going to pretend anything different to make me feel better about the game. They traveled halfway across the country on a short week to play on the biggest stage of their life. A playoff caliber team has their way with them. They don't have to rally the troops at halftime to make a comeback.

It's sad to see how much the acceptance bar has been lowered with a lot of our fans. Jimmy Johnson would stick his foot in my rear end if I was a player on his team and called that performance a good win.

But they're a bad team that beat San Diego. A bad team that beat Pittsburgh.

Any win is a good win in this league, but I don't think anyone believes the team doesn't need to perform better.

It's just a stupid argument. It's hard to win games in the NFL.

There are any number of contenders that struggle with inferior talent and often times lose to them as well.

The Rams just blew out Indy. A team we toyed with. They also beat the Cards...one of the hottest teams in football.

The Cowboys were on a short week as well and were coming off travel and the emotional high of gearing up for and playing their division rival.

It's sad to see how high a bar you arbitrarily set...especially for a team with obvious issues on the defensive side of the ball. Jimmy Johnson would stick his foot in your rear end because you are detached from reality.

Maybe you'd feel better if you were a fan of the 10-1 Seattle Seahawks ...

who beat the 2-9 Houston Texans 23-20 or the 5-6 Tennessee Titans 20-13 or the lowly 5-6 St. Louis Rams (that Dallas dominated) 14-9 or the 3-8 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27-24.

On any given day, a bad NFL team can prove to be a challenge to beat, especially when you give up seven points right off the back off a disputed fumble by a replacement returner.

Again, I don't think anyone is saying Dallas' flaws magically went away with a victory, only that any victory in the NFL is worth enjoying.

This season, Dallas has done what it is supposed to in beating bad teams whether by a lot or by a little. Now, if it could just take the next step and claim some of those close games against good teams.

I'm glad we got the win but lets all be honest with ourselves, we beat an under .500 team because they didn't do squat in the second half. If we were playing a team that was above .500 and showed up flat like we did in the first half, they would have put the nail in the coffin in the second. They would have the ability to keep scoring and we wouldn't have the ability to stop them or keep up with them on offense. Sure, we are now 2 games above .500, but we have not beaten a team that is over .500 this year. A win next week over Chicago would be a big deal.

It was a good game and a much needed win. But for the life of me why not use play action more, especially when the run game was so effective. The shotgun allows the D to just tee off on Romo, especially a blitz happy team like the Raiders.

I would bet many other teams are in this same situation, winning against teams under .500
And maybe, have you thought that the Cowboys great play in the 2nd half, had something to do with the Raiders not doing squat.
Give some credit when it is due, too many people look for the bad parts, not the good parts.

We lose, we are bad, we win, the other team was bad...why not give the credit when we did WIN the game!!!! Not calling you out, but most people do this.

because if he gave credit for the win, he would have to give credit to Romo, and as the #1 Romo hater on the board he just could not do that.

Yes cut Tony. A guy that goes to Cabo for an IV is not worth keeping around.

The same Jimmy Johnson who when asked if the upcoming game was a big game for them answered "They're all big games." ?

Romo rebounded very nicely. I was just reading that he went 12-12 in the second half. The guy played very strong.

I'm glad they came out swinging and dominated second half...now if they would do this for entire game...

Sometimes I can care less about the first half cause idk seems like we are a 2nd half team and I hate that!

The Raiders came in and almost beat the Cowboys. Who knows how the game would have went without that first fumble.
A Thanksgiving game.

I did not like the Blue unis.

You know..this blue uni thing has always been a bugaboo.

It reared it's head first back in the '70 SB against the Colts..which we lost.

It persisted for years in the choice of home teams to use their light colored units forcing Dallas to wear dark.

It's died over the years but I'm sure if Dallas manages to get better..teams are going to revert to letting Dallas always wear the blue.

You have to lower your bar. This team is not the 94 Cowboys. You can hold them to that standard if you want but expect to be disappointed week in and week out. This is the NFL. This isn't the 90's. In the 2013 NFL its rare that whoopings are being handed out. Even the Bronco's only beat them by 16 points. If you look at every other Raiders game this year most of them have been the same type of game. Raiders start off well. But lack of talent keeps them out of games and they always lose the 2nd half of games. Thats' been there problem.

They were tied 7-7 with the Chiefs going into the 3rd quarter to lose the game 7 to 24. ZERO points scored in the 2nd half of that game and scored 3 points against us in the end half.

If the Chargers would've taken care of business against the lowly Raiders they would be 6-5 right now as opposed to being the 5-6 they are.

There's no shame in a W against the Raiders. They have 4 wins this year. They aren't winless. They could've won yesterday too.

No,,they were not.

In fact..had that been a TD for thr Raiders instead of an Int. for Carr..

..we'd be looking at things alot differently right now.

Had it been a TD? It was nowhere NEAR close to being a TD for the Raiders. It was a jumpball to Jacoby Ford. The smallest guy on the field. LOL

The Raiders showed no signs of competing in that 2nd half. They looked terrible. Talent-wise they just don't have enough to finish out games.
