If I were Dak, I probably wouldn't be there either. Sometimes that's the respectful thing to do.Interesting Dak wasn't there.......probably out fishing.

I noticed that also. Makes me hope that Free might consider coming back for one more year. He was the leader of that group, and received a lot more criticism than he deserved. Might still be better than any alternative we have at the moment. This made me get a little emotional just seeing how much he was loved by his teammates. Question, why no mention of Doug Free surprising him. LOL. Is he already cast away now because he retired?
If Romo's back would have held up, play-action pass would have absolutely destroyed teams last year!Wish those two would have one year together...
As it turns out, he'll never know what it's like to have Zeke in his backfield.Wish those two would have one year together...
Tony Romo had lots of fans for his Dallas Mavericks "debut."
Cowboys running back, and former teammate, Ezekiel Elliott was in attendance.
Wide receiver Terrance Williams was in the house.
As was La'el Collins, Lucky Whitehead and Tyron Smith.
Jason Garrett and Scott Linehan were in the building too.
And Byron Jones.
Romo was even surprised by Zack Martin, Travis Frederick, Collins, Sean Lee and Smith when he was headed to the locker room.
Based off everyone's reactions, you can see just how much Romo meant to all of his teammates.

At least the guy carrying the torch now can enjoy it.
Not allowed to.I was riding my bike, so I missed the game. Did he actually play at all?
Pudge was the best catcher I've ever watched (as a division rival, I saw a lot of him). What a damn generational stud, JC. I'd take him over Piazza 10/10 times, and it pains me to say that as an Angels fan.btw, The Mavs have previously honored at least two others that I can think of on Fan Appreciation Night:
Pudge Rodriquez and Mike Madono
Pudge and Madono are HOFers all the way!Pudge was the best catcher I've ever watched (as a division rival, I saw a lot of him). What a damn generational stud, JC. I'd take him over Piazza 10/10 times, and it pains me to say that as an Angels fan.
Modano killed my Kings when we were in the same division in those late 90s. The Stars had a great team, with Modano and Hatcher leading the way. Gosh, they killed us.
As for Romo and Co, team chemistry starts in the offseason. Even with Romo leaving, I think Romo's loss is galvanizing the team that much more. This is gonna be a great season if we can assemble a respectable D. Love seeing the boys (and Coach) smiling and enjoying their time with our Tony. Fans at that game had a hell of an experience.
Absolutely, JC! His pickoff move to first was deadly. His arm and bat were deadly. His footwork behind the plate was elite. His pitch-framing, elite. Best we've seen in the last 30 years, easily. And no roid rumors like Piazza had floating around.Pudge and Madono are HOFers all the way!
Pudge is right near the top, in a very small group that could be called best all-around catchers of all time. Absolute lazar arm, cat-like fielder, strong game-caller, and a terror at the plate.
I'm biased toward the position...very under appreciated in general.
Not taking anything away from Dak's year I just would have loved to see what he could have done. I'm thinking 2014 but with better results. If Romo's back would have held up, play-action pass would have absolutely destroyed teams last year!

We have a defensive gem of a catcher in Maldonado on the Halos, and he isn't even as good as Pudge. Never mind the hitting aspect lol
Wooten, yes, I'm in California (San Fernando Valley). I started watching the Boys in 1996, but not as a diehard (I would've been 12 going on 13). Their hype from the last few seasons is what drew me to them as I was just discovering football. I had watched the '93 and '95 Super Bowls but remember very little. So what's your story, Trouty? Sounds like you live in California, right? And a fan of the Kings and Angels. So how did you become such a big Cowboys fan?
