No QB could have been effective with our line against that D yesterday, except M. Vick, since he could run, because he had no time to pass.
Bledsoe didn't even have time to throw the ball away on that last drive.
The O-line was pathetic.
With blocking like this, Favre would throw 5-6 picks.(oh, we've seen that)
With blocking like this, Aikman would have gotten knocked out.(oh, we've seen that too!)
Bledsoe is not our answer at QB, but bashing him based on yesterday's game just shows an anti-Bledsoe agenda.

i'm one of the most ardent/vocal bledsoe bashers. so much so i've had to stop posting "home" out of my own frustrations. i feel parcells has a "parcells" agenda (to use your own words) and it's not "team" friendly, but parcells only. i've ragged on drew for bounce passes w/o mercy cause they drive me to insanity, w/o mercy either, btw.
but yesterdays loss was a TEAM loss. to see the critisizm as "bledsoe only" reeks of "yes, i have bledsoe underoos, please leave my hero alone". this is soon followed by "he's a cowboy, you should root for him at all times cause that's just the way it is!" personally, i saw enough of that short-sighted RARA junk in jr. high when we went onto the kumkwat bowl in maitland fl.
bledsoe is NOT our long term answer regardless of him being the best qb we've had here since aikman left. as much as i bash him i also fully realize this to be true. what i also realize to be true is we're seeing about what we're going to get from a BP gameplan headed up by a QB he chose, KNOWING how to protect his faults, which BP didn't do.
yesterdays loss had nothing to do with bledsoe alone. yes it's frustrating to watch him back into a sack and yes it's frustrating to watch him lose the ball when hit. but all qb's will do that and at all times when your team, it's frustrating.
the bledsoe bashing to me i do simply because parcells seems to refuse to allow any other qb to play. when bledsoe got here it wasn't a "win the position" thing it was "i was told i'm the starter".
so, in all i DO NOT have an anti-bledsoe agenda, but i DO have a pro-cowboys one. i DO feel drew isn't our long term answer and i DO want to see us quit the WIN NOW crap and move onto planning long term approaches with a lucid gameplan in place for several years to come. i don't wait for drew to fail, but that doesn't stop me from knowing he will, and hating being right.
so get off the "anti-bledsoe" agenda. if he were capable of winning it all he'd not have such a HUGE base of cowboys fans NOT wanting him here before he got here, much less now.
on the flipside - at 7-3 we heard a lot of people saying I BET BUFFALO WISHES THEY HAD BLEDSOE NOW!!! i don't hear ANY of them saying "oops".
the day to day, game by game knee jerk reactions get old and i want long term planning for this team. that's all.
and i don't see bledsoe as a valid long term answer and no, that doesn't make me have an agenda, it doesn't make me hate the team or bledsoe or anything like that. it makes me a fan who sees it different than other fans and like the other fans, i grow weary of the contact need to bach each other for just being as passionate as the basher may be, but from a different point of view.

You can't blame the driver if the car won't start.

Did you like the driver and the car analogy ?BrAinPaiNt said:For the record...I am getting this one in early.
I am throwing a preemptive strike and blaming you for the WVU loss in the bowl game.
How do you like those apples?

iceberg said:nothing - he did the best he could. what part of "I AM NOT BASHING BLEDSOE" are you just flat missing? THE TEAM LOST but regardless of that bledsoe is still not a long term answer but a gap player till we decide to cut bait and find direction again.
some think we have it now - great. go enjoy it and leave the rest of us and our non-fan-type-bashing alone.
