Do not waste a first round pick on a RB. draft defense in the first 3 rounds

Here is my 3 round mock.

Don't draft a CB in first three round. fix this DL and get a pass rush. and the DB we have will be a lot better. not being able to get a pass rush on A. Rodgers when he was playing on one leg was a wake-up call. fix this DL now. i wish the media and fans stop talking about drafting a RB and CB. cowboys need to draft defense. would not bother me at all if all our picks were on defense. who agrees or disagrees with me on this?

Having a solid secondary is just as important and can help the pass rush. I'm not with any idea that involves completely ignoring talent to improve the team if it's available.
I want to see us come away with a few DBs and DEs in this draft more than anything. But if there's fantastic value at RB in the 2nd I say take it.

So we just pissed away half of our national visits just for the hell of it?

I don't see the logic in doing that. Why bother bringing in virtually every decent RB in the NCAA if you are going to totally ignore that position during the draft?

Virtually everybody we had in for a visit is going to go in the top 3 rounds...............maybe Ajayi will be there in the 4th with his bone-on-bone knee condition but that is about it.

In theory i agree but the Defense did not get us to the playoffs last year.If we cant run the ball very well then we will go back to the lame offense of those 8-8 years.

I agree they need defense they also lost a player who provided 40% or their offense last season. I have no problem with Dallas taking DL or CB in rd 1. Big fan of Malcom Brown but if in the end Dallas takes a top RB great I think both are very good player who can come in and help the Cowboys. In your mock you have Mario Edwards.DE. Fsu and Trey Flowers DE.Arkansas. Either or both would be a big help to the defense. Dallas went out and got Hardy, they enter this season with what I feel is a strong LB core with Lee, Ro and Hitchens as well as vet depth behind them.

I also expect much more out of last years rookie in DLaw. Should Dallas 1st 3 picks be Defense I have no problems but I also do not have any issue with taking a top RB since it was a big part of the success

A good defense keeps our offense on the field. see it works both ways. we are not going to win a championship if we don't improved this defense. i don't want to hear about a RB in the first3 rounds.
