The defense wasn't that great when they were 16-0. It's that offense that is scary.

Any team with Tom Brady and Randy Moss on it scares me.

Heck, any team with half of that duo. :laugh2:

Brady, Moss, Galloway, Welker and Taylor. I would be scared if I was a defensive coordinator about to face those guys.

Galloway is done. Welker is over rated, Moss can be contained, we've actually had SOME success at it recently, and Taylor won't last half the season.

as a Cowboy fan the Patriots scare me about as much as the Celtics or the Red Sox... Oh you mean if the Cowboys go to the Super Bowl!

They dropped 48 points on our 13-3 2007 squad. Brady threw for 388 yards and 5 touchdowns.

I think we'd give them a hell of a fight, but "not scared in the least"? I'd be lying.

They all have chinks in the armour, and most of them are no spring chickens.

They don't scare me because they can be beat. Now, respect is something that I have for them, but fear....No.

no

why would they? they are of no significance to the Boys this year. Actually we should be Pats fans for 4 of their games.

if we are going to play the Pats it will be in the SB....we have 13 opponents that I am far more concerned with.

Hell yes....I find the Patriots much more scary than I'm sure they find the Cowboys at this point. The Cowboys are not a team to be feared until they start rolling the way they did year before last...and then they'll still have to prove they can do it in Dec. and into the playoffs.

They beat our 13-3 team by 21.

We were at home too, lol.

Yeah... that offense is scary good. Yes, I'd scared if we were fortunate enough to make it to the Super Bowl

People always underrate the significance of the head coaching match up between two teams (especially in the playoffs), and unfortunately that is brutally in their favor. As in taking a knife to a gunfight brutal.

I'm not buying the Brady hype this year. Other QBs take longer than that to recover from such injury (mentally). We'll see how he reacts when the bullets fly for real, and guys are flying all around his knees.

Carson Palmer was coming into his own when he had a similar injury, and it set him back many years.

It wasn't that bad of a beating. The game was close for about 3 1/2 quarters and if I recall correctly, the Cowboys held a lead over them in the 3rd quarter. There where also some questionable calls in that game that went into the Patriots favor that really helped them. As Coach Greene would say, 'they are who we thought they were...and we let them off the hook."

That is correct! They piled on 2 garbage time TDs like they were doing on every team that year in retaliation of the Patriot gate scandal.

Very classy organization, those Patriots

Well, let's just say they would scare me if we were playing them. Of course, the only way we play them this year is in the big game being played in Miami, so I figure I'll worry about it then.
