Do we even begin to put some blame on Sparano?

I know, I know, Tony wasn't the one whiffing on blocks, but did Sparano's sure head coaching job in the waiting distract the guys? Did it distract Tony? Because I'm searching for ideas as to why the line folded so bad and it's a pretty convenient excuse. There aren't many others.

Was it that the line couldn't take him seriously knowing that he's just going to bolt in a few weeks anyway? Was he in some other place? I know we all saw him shouting on the sidelines, but did the guys just tune him out? Whatever it was, I put the majority of the blame on the line, especially for folding (for the first time) at such a ridiculous time.

our OL is just not that good.

Romo made them look great when he was playing brady-like thru Nov before he wore down and faded.

undisciplined with alot of DUMB penalties all year. Terrible snaps, come on.

we all get on JJ but with real runblocking he'd look alot better i know that.

I think a lot of the Oline problems can go on the Offensive play calling.

This has to be one of the most asinine things I've seen written thus far today.

Hows that? Since when is lack of execution a play calling problem?

The Cowboys were in position SEVERAL times to SCORE TDs, but the players (who were in position to make the play) failed to actually MAKE THE PLAY.

Says an angry fan of an offensive line that has 3 of 5 Pro Bowlers.

Thats over half the offensive line Mr. Chinch. I think you're just angry and letting your emotions get away from you.

I've said it 1,000 times. The only time I'm bias is when the Commanders are involved.

Jerry distrubted 2 tickets to the NFC Championship game to every player before the game.

Wrong message.

Sparano's blocking scheme broke down int he 4th quarter.

Can't have that with 3 Pro Bowlers on the line.

Crayton dropped a sure 50 yarder ona critical 3rd down, and another pass later, and muffed a punt still later.

After all his talking, not good.

Jacques Reeves gave up completion after completion after completion. Usually for 1st downs.

He's had all season to remove the bullseye on his jersey. Couldn't get it done despite his incredible speed.

The Special Teams couldn't tackle.

Death sentence to give a playoff team good field position for every drive.

It's pretty obvious that Owens and Glenn were not healthy, but played on pure heart. With debatable results.

Injuries derail teams, but shouldn't.

Maybe it's just me, but I think it was a team loss across the board and blame can be shared by a lot of people.

Gotta agree with you on that one. I completely cringed when I heard Jerry did that. Talk about a jinx!

A couple of thoughts on this.

I think Gurode was really rusty, and probably wore down as the game went on. He may not even have been 100%.

I also think that Adams got nicked up; he went down twice. AFTER he went down the second time, he couldn't stop Osi anymore, which led to the Cowboys having to start keeping extra protection in. Like the last drive.

In general, Adams never had any problem in the first half AND in the previous two games against the Giants.

People I respect who are close to the team, like Brad Sham, talk about how good Sparano is, so I know he's a pretty good coach. But I'm tired of hearing how great he is. When I see teams like the Giants and Skins, I see some players who were considered average at best that come together to overachieve as a group. We don't do that at all.

And yes, I forget who it was (maybe Mariucci? Though I think it was some other ex-coach) that was saying that calling people for potential staff hires and getting calls from people all week who want jobs definitely CAN be a distraction to getting your group prepared as well as usual. I couldn't help thinking last night that maybe it wasn't a coincidence that the O-line and the offense in general played poorly after a week when both guys in charge of those groups were interviewing for other jobs.

He is all hype. We haven't had an effective running game all year, and when we did, it was purely off the fortitude of Marion Barber, who makes something out of nothing. We have one of the, if not the biggest offensive line in the game and can't get any push at the line.

Clairevoyant. How'd he know that they would need tickets to get into that game?

Wade/JJ are clueless to plays the old guys hurt. like Bill starting Drew last year... TO hurt and TG off 15 minutes of football and our offense is in a funk since late Nov.

not smart.

handing out title game tix would be the climax of stupidity.
