I just want yalls opinion on if you think we will pick up a QB this offseason or not. Do we draft one, sign one, or wait until next year to get our QB for the future? I almost believe Parcells wants to ignore it which is why he will only be here for 2 more seasons that way he wont have to worry about it.

I don't think so, but there's always a possibility.

I don't believe BP is going to coach past this year. I also don't believe the status of our QB position will be the determining factor in how long he does or doesn't stay. I would be shocked if he made any kind of move to get a QB that anyone would call a QB of the future.

Ok, I don't get this when will we get the QB? What about the ones we have on roster? Or we just keep drafting QBs, see them for couple pre-season or half game in NFL and decide they can't play? If so, Ben shouldn't be playing in NFL, nor Carson Palmer, nor Eli Manning and Chris Simms. All looked crappy in their first starts. Heck Eli and especially Chris Simms who looked crappy even in third year, first couple of starts this year.

With BP, what makes you guys who want another QB here, will give any chance to the new one, let alone the current ones? You can all dream about this QB or that QB, I dont think Cowboys are going to trade or draft a QB in this draft, unless maybe its real low rounds.

Romo and Henson are it for this year. Which doesn't matter since Bledsoe will be starting regardless. And then BP and Bledsoe will leave together, with new coach fend for himself to find heir apparent, either among Romo/Henson or draft another one. PERIOD. I will be shocked if thats not the case.

You mean for sure? Yep I agree, we just have to hope Romo or Henson will be one of them.

I don't think the QBs change from this year to next.

Might see another camp body brought in. Someone like Dustin Long or something.

Maybe draft McPherson from Clemson in mid-round?

McPherson? The QB at Clemson is Charlie Whitehurst, I can't even think of a prospect at QB with the last name McPherson entering this draft. Last year there was Adrian McPherson who was drafted by the Saints in the 4th...

Sometimes I think Parcells thinks QB is the least important position on the field

Or the position most likely to steal the spotlight.

I don't think we will win a SB with Parcells here because if you look at the last 13 SB winners all but 2 had their Franchise QB leading them to victory. The only reason that those 2 teams that didn't have their franchise QB won the SB was because they had one of the best D's in the history of the NFL. Which were the 2000 Ravens and the 2002 Buccaneers. Parcells wants to win now and will at the max coach 2 more years and then retire. So he is not gonna waste a draft pick on a QB, and with Zimmer here we are not gonna have a dominating D. So we can just hope that he leaves the pieces for another coach to where all we need is that Franchise QB

The only reason that we would get another QB would be if Sean Payton gets hired as a HC somewhere and trades for Romo. We would then have to replace Romo on the roster but otherwise we will keep the guys that we have. Henson is still slated to be our QB of the future thought Romo could beat him out.

Why is it that everyone dismisses our young QB's as worthless but everyone else's backup would be wonderful? Is the grass really that much greener on the other side? It looks about the same color to me.

Don't ever doubt it. Its the same with every teams fan. Somehow they always think, as long as they are not on their team roster, they are better than what they have.

And nothing will convince them otherwise. So expect seeing these posts all throughout the offseason, till they see that Cowboys won't be drafting QB high or trading for QB in offseason, unless we lose one of the QBs.

I do not want to witness another season with Drew under center. I think he's a great guy but his limitations are glaring. He makes bonehead decisions even with time to through.
