Do we keep ANY of the coaches?

I have to frankly say that I cannot think of one of the coaches that we cannot upgrade.

When Jimmy came in he cleaned house. Since then with every coaching change Jerry has insisted on some of the staff being retained.

That loyalty is admirable in some ways, but incredibly naive. Let the new guy create his own staff.

JMO.

Its not the coaches.

Stop it.

Watch the game film.

You'll see the problems.

Here's a hint...

- Henry and A. Glenn cant compete at Corner
- Romo turns the ball over worse than Vinni ever did.
- Something is wrong with the running game....

All 4 years of the Parcells era we have lost 3 games in the last month of the each season.

But it's not coaching...

BP doesn't play on the field.

Look at the game...you'll see the problems.

Its extremely obvious.

Why do you think BP is disappointed.

It was foolish to keep Zimmer when Parcells came in. I believe it is foolish to keep any coaches when a new HC is hired unless he is promoted from within (which I think is a mistake in most cases). A HC needs to have aassistants who are totally on board with him and have the same vision, philosophy, style, and goals as the HC.

Because he has the same belief that you do, that it's all on the players. He will continue to be disappointed until he figures out that it is on him and his staff.

Bill has a baseball approach to football and it doesn't work.

Glenn is a very good CB and Henry when Healthy is too. If you are too blind to see that then that is your fault. Gomers taking one game or two and then ignoring the rest of the season.....

I'm sorry if you are a fan of Glenn and Henry.

The facts are on the field.

They simply can not play football and compete against NFL caliber receivers.

I'm sorry.

I am sorry you have no vision or judgement. If you actually are interested, why don;t you look around - you will then NOTICE that you are virtually alone in your delusion.

For anybody to think Parcells is not the problem, well, there's just no point in arguing with you.

clean house sounds good to me.
Just make sure the new DC is agressive in the 3-4.

Romo got pushed around like a ragdoll because he couldn't get good O-line play, but still threw for 321 yards and two TDs. Yep, it was Romo's fault.

Do you want me to post the pic of Glenn giving up the TD with 10 seconds left in the 1st half?

How about Henry giving up 23 yds on a 4th and 1 play [after BP won a challenge on the play to give our team a chance?]

How about Henry "wiffing" on a tackle with 13:40 to go in the 1st QTR?

There is a long list of this crap that I could post.

I do have the film, and I do watch them.

I know what I am talking about.

I don't really care for the 3-4 personally, but whether it is the 3-4 or the 4-3, so long as he has an attacking mindset is all that matters to me.

For Romo turning the ball over and the running game I completly blame the offensive line. You have to protect the Quarterback and open holes for runningback. That just is not happening here and has not since the late 1990's.

On the defense I would not be so quick to throw Henry and Glenn under the bus. I think there is more problems than that and it just may be the way Zimmer runs it.

I do not have the magic answer for the defense but on the offense the problem is the offensive line. Simple as that. Curly

Yes. This 3-4 is all fine and dandy when it's done right but we've learned this year painfully that it's awfully tough to get right. Aggressive and unpredictable. If we can't find coaches who know how to do that, then switch back to the 4-3 and grab the best available coaches for that.

Henry and Glenn were both FAs who were brought in by Parcells and Zimmer. We passed on other CBs who were available to bring those two in. Why blame the players?
