Adams-Kosier-Johnson/Gurade-Rivera-Fabini

I just heard SPagnola Say that Fabini might not even be a Starter, he said he's a "possible starter", or a backup just in case Pettiti doesnt develop:banghead: YOu know what the Jets Fans call Fabini?-They call him " "Fall start 69"..WOW You GO Fabini, you're the man. Yea right! .. Then you have Mr. Broken back Rivera and Little man Johnson...Come on man I'm not happy with this line at all. And you can flame me all you want, I can say what ever I please so W/E.

If Bledsoe has no time to pass and JJ has no room to run I'll know why......What-ever like NICk Eatman always says, " IT IS WHAT IT IS".

And yes I'm pist can you tell? http://img95.*************/img95/553/heyyoubycamikaze0ug.gif

Adams/Tucker --- Kosier/Peterman --- Johnson/Gurode --- Rivera/Gurode --- Fabini/Petitti/Colombo

It's an improvement as long as they stay healthy. I'm in the Rivera camp this season. I think he'll be much improved after having a full off season to heal. I'll wait to pass judgment on Kosier/Peterman til mid-season. Looking at this depth chart though, it seems apparent that we're not touching the line on the first day of the draft.

yeah i think that if a guy gets injured than you will need a miracle with some of the Ds that are out there nowadays.

Can't believe that Larry Allen is gone. Know he isn't the player he used to be and really don't have problem with cutting him, but in my imagination I certainly never thought some guy named Kosier would replace him; I thought we bring in Hutchinson as Larry's successor, but obvious that wasn't in their plans. Still have same concern about center situation. Will also see if Riveria can come all the way back from back injury to play at a pretty good level. Don't know about Spag's comment your heard re Fabini, but he definitely was signed to start at RT but Spag did also say that we didn't spend so much money on Fabini that we couldn't make him a backup IF Pettiti MAKES GIGANTIC step forward.

I do think we must add another OL; either a good OT or someone like Charles Charles Spencer looks to be a player who will be available in the 2nd round and someone we must take a look at. Apparently he has played OT that long, but looked real good in senior bowl against some of the best DL & LBS. He can also play OG. But of course some of the other better well known OTs might be an option as would Max Jean Gilles, who an immediate starter at OG but could also play RT.

I'm positive Fabini wins the starter role, unless Pettiti turns into superman. And with Flozell, Fabini, healthy Rivera, Kosier, and new heavier Al Johnson I think we'll do fine.

Heavier Al? Hasn't he tried to put on weight for awhile not and not been able to do it?

Johnson wore down as the year ended- I heard he was down to around 285 by January. He is supposedly trying to add some bulk this offseason- BP said he had maxed out as regards regular workouts- so he is probably looking at trading some quickness for more mass. Not sure that will work. Quickness was the only thing he had going for him.

Yes...I have great faith in this OL. I have faith that they will be much improved over the load of crap we've been running out there for the past few years, and a 100 times better than the disaster we ran out last season....a ProBowl, top of the league line? No, but this is the way you get better.

I have faith. At least some.. compared to last year when we finished up with turnstiles as Tackles and had one Guard with back (or something) issues and another whose feet were in concrete 1/2 the time.

No.

This line needs to get much better. And quickly, too.

Another veteran G needs to be added, IMO as well as a high OT draft pick.

I think we need to stock up in this draft on O-Lineman. I honestly would've rather saved the money and effort we spent on T.O. and put it towards signing a guy like Hutchinson. That's no shot at T.O. I just think everything starts with the O-line.
