I love me some NASCAR but my favorite form of racing is dirt track. Sprint cars rule.

Big time Earnhardt Jr. fan. Really miss seeing his dad out on the track.

Last summer my brother and I took a trip down to Charlotte, N.C. on one of his business trips and stayed in Big E's hometown of Kannapolis, N.C. Its right in the heart of NASCAR country with Lowe's motor speedway being only about a 20 mins-half hour away. We went to a minor league baseball game, the Class 'A' affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. The team's name is the Kannapolis Intimidators, and they list the NASCAR standings on the wall next to the beer stands. Definately one of my favorite places I've ever visited. Just thought I'd share.

No. not enough passing/action. it seems its such a science now about who has the best car, the best team, how long to wait for pitt and so forth....so there seems to be little balls to the wall racing. its more about who runs the perfect race and times everything right.

i would like to see more passing back and forth, more lead car changes, more bumping and nudging. yeah, i know its dangerous....so they need to change the track, make it wider to allow for more of that without the big pile ups when someone crashes.

i guess i'm more of a smash up derby kind of racer. your passing inside on a turn and the guy in front tries to cut you off, let him have it, bump your car into his, push him off and then fly past him. that's racing!!!!!!

Then you must not have seen the races at Daytona and Talladega. These are restrictor plate racing where cars tend to be running 2 and 3 wide though out the race and the big crash always seems to take place

Not only no, but HELLLLLLL no. Left turn, left turn, left turn, commercial, left turn. left turn, left turn...etc. etc.. The road courses are somewhere near interesting, but as a whole NASCAR bores me to tears.

Sometimes I ask people why they watch NASCAR, and they tell me about the incredible wrecks. Hell, If I wanted to see that I would pull up a chair on the Illinois toll roads and see wrecks that make the NASCAR drivers seem like girls.
