That Tom Brady's highest QB Rating for a game, ever, was 148.3?

He's never thrown for 5 TDs in one game.

The highest QB Rating, for a season, Brady has ever had was 92.6.

I believe that Tom Brady is the best QB in the NFL. Certainly, top 5. I just can't believe what Romo is doing. I have to constintly remind myself that he has only played 7 games and that I must tempor my enthusiasam. It's just remarkable how well this young man has performed in the last few weeks.

Romo is doing "magical" things so far and seems to be a bit better each week and more comfortable with what he has around him.

The stats don't mean anything. Its all about the super bowl victories. Romo could put up incredible numbers but if he does not win atleast a couple of super bowls he will not be succseful, imo

One of the things that makes me feel good about Romo's long term success is the fact that he makes quick reads, is very accurate, gets rid of the ball quickly and spreads the ball around and hits the open guy most of the time.

All of the things that make Brady so good!

:hammer: He would be just another Peyton Manning in that case...

Romo is going to have some rough days, it happens to all QB's. The defining factor is how he responds to those bad days the next game out...

I'll take Romo over Tom Brady any day of the week. He's younger, smarter, faster, and can make any throw asked of him.

Oh, he's also a great leader. And he can hear well.

Same here.

However one thing Romo has going for him over Brady.

Romo does not have that goofy butt crack chin like brady.

Brady has always made his mark in the playoffs, though. It's not until the last three seasons or so that he's really started to become a stats guy, as well.

I see him in that Aikman light, where you judge him by the rings. Brady has nice stats, but that'll never be what he's measured by.

I think I've seen enough to make that statement. You can't coach what he has - the intelligence, poise, leadership, elusiveness, laser arm. He's got it.

Hey Trick. If the way Romo responds to a bad play is any indication of how he will respond to a bad game, I think he will handle any bad games well and respond accordingly.

I feel the same way. He has the innate ability to shake things off thus far. Let's hope that continues when things get rough...

Thats Crazy Talk!!!! I'm impressed with Romo like everyone else, but less not mention him in the same breath with Tom Brady. Romo hasn't even won a PLAYOFF game yet.

Tony Romo has better career stats than Tom Brady. How's that for saying both names in the same breath?

Here's another one: Tom Brady has never put together a 5 game stretch like Romo has.

Brady's superbowl ratings: 86.2, 100.5, 110.2

all against superbowl defenses (goes without saying)

what Romo has done is, truly, remarkable. What Brady has done is almost unbelievable.

With all due respect, Tom Brady has played in a playoff game, he's won a playoff game (all but one), he's played in a superbowl, and he's won one (every one he's played in)

These things should be considered as well

I agree. You're right.

What Brady has done in the post season has been remarkable.

Brady's not quite over the hill yet, he moves well, he's as smart and tough as any QB and can make any throw. Don't know how you can say you'd take Romo over Brady yet. Brady's proven he can lead a team to the championship.
