Do you STILL believe the blue unis are a jinx?

I'm a new member, so this is my first official cowboy-related post.
(I'm also a wrestlingf fan for those curious about my username)

It was well known during Landry's years that wearing the blue unis was considered superstitious, bad luck, or possibly a jinx.

Do you still consider that?

I feel that the team has fared better recently in those jerseys.

Consider:

The 38-17 win in Philly last year, which went unnoticed because the entire sports world was obsessed with Pats/Colts

Romo's first win against Carolina

The opening day win against Cleveland

Recently, I kind of think the blue jersey is working a bit more positively.

Personally, I just like the blue color better than the white one.

My brother gave me a Romo jersey for xmas 2 years ago, and I'm glad he gave me the blue one.

the blue one looks better with civilian clothing, white is where its at when they are playing on the field.

I never felt there was a jinx then again I never felt like jerseys win or lose games.

I don't know about the blue jerseys overall, but I definitely think bad things are going to happen when I turn on the game and see blue jerseys and rain. I personally love how they look, though.

I don't believe in the jinx either.

I like the blue jerseys better myself. It matches better with any type of Cowboy apparel. :)

Nothing matches with the White jersey. :(

White jersey on a hot day at Texas stadium though is a bit cooler for the players

The Orange Bowl was worse. Not sure if we ever won a reg or post-season game in that stadium.

That "jinx" ended years ago! We no matter what color we're rockin', the opposing team will be in for a world of hurt when we hit the field! :D

Mr. Kennedy,

The Blue Uniform Jinx went away in 1981, following the 1980 NFC Championship loss to the Eagles earlier that January.

In fact, opening day in 1981 was in the Nation's Capitol. Dallas won that game 26-10. However, when I saw those new, blue uniforms, I absolutely loved it.

Hey, Dallas wins in both white and blue uniforms and loses in both also. There really hasn't been much of a disparagy between the two other than the fact that the Cowboys only wear those uniforms on the road. So if the winning percentage is a little lower, then that is understandable.

I look mainly at Dallas @ Skins games...and there it hasn't been too hot. Last year I don't really count, considering our starters shouldn't have even been in...but then the year prior with the blocked field goal and facemask call...and the year before when Cooley had 30 td's in a game.

Dallas wore white for Romo's first win versus Carolina.

Dallas's W-L record in blue and white in road games was roughly equal in the 1981-2004 time period.

That blue jersey jinx originally came from Super Bowl V when Dallas lost to the Colts on a last second field goal after a turnover filled game by both teams. Even the legendary Johnny Unitas had a bad game in the short time he was on the field. It's the only time Dallas ever wore the blues in a Super Bowl, they have worn them a few times in losing playoff games, too, including 2 NFC Championships vs. the Commanders ('74 & '82), and the NFC Championship loss to Philly in '80.

I have one of those old Reebok reversible jerseys from the 90s back when they first put the stars overlapping the shoulder stripes for the team's current road blue jersey. It has the white jersey when reversed. So, it's cool to wear the blue jersey out to game watching parties when they're on the road. It's too hot, though. It's basically two jerseys sewn together for a 2 ply hockey sweater feel.
