Do you want the Rock first or do you wanna let DWare & Co. set the tone?

I'm thinking long kickoff by Buehler and an early 3 an out - rather than give Philly any hope with a stalled drive.

They can't stop us. Even if they do it's not much momentum since they are away. If we go down and put together a 8-10 minute 10 play drive, then they might just quit right there.

Take the rock, the time off the clock, and the lead..................always.

Let's see. Last three games: three straight TDs on opening drives by the offense. On opening drive defense, two 3-and-outs and an INT.

I'm cool either way.

Offense first! Establish the run and get that clock smokin! Eat up about 8 minutes or so, score 7, and then pommel McFlabb for 3 and out....another 8 minute drive, score 7....you get the picture. I want Their offense watching helplessly from the sidelines in between poundings by the D.

Romo has been on fire early in games lately - I'll take the ball first and establish the tempo. They trailed us for 55 minutes last game. I want to put them right back in the same situation ASAP. We come out physical and get a lead - they will give up.

This time I wouldn't mind trying to take a shot deep early just like we did in NO. They are going to be so psyched to come after our running game after we just pushed them around for 60 minutes.

Take the ball and ram it down their filthy throats!

That's exactly what they are going to be expecting - play action then deep shot if they tip their hand.

This has been working for us lately so I'm all for going with it again.

I want the rock first, that way we can put together a good drive and score first.

I think those *****es fold like a cheap suit if we jump on them early.

The rock is a woman's best friend...get a 'ring dangler' and watch the competition blush with envy.

The nice thing about kicking is that if you are able to stop them and force a punt, and then score, you pretty much negate the advantage of them having the ball first because you a) score first, and b) get the ball at half.

Hmm...he's a little old to be in his first ever NFL game.

(I assume that's why the word 'rock' is capitalized in the thread subject line, right?)

I would kickoff first and make them start out at the 20 yd line or worse after Beuller booms it into the end zone. The crowd noise will be deafening to start the game, more so than it will be for the kickoff after halftime.

Take the ball first...if we take the opening kickoff and march down their throats for a touchdown, a lot of doubt will start to creep in for them.
