Disclaimer: I am not predicting that we will win the Super Bowl this year, just that we have a very good team.

Okay quick question if Romo comes back... Let's just say... Week 10 or 11... And guides this team to a Super Bowl victory, maybe winning the MVP in the process, and announces his retirement right after the game (unlike his idol), would he be in Canton in 5 years, eventually, or never. It's always been said that he has the stats, just not the rings, would 1 ring change that, would Dak's performance in his absence taint the ring, or would it not be enough anyway. What do you guys think?

P.S. please for the love of God read the disclaimer lol

I actually have never been 100% sure that just one full season Super Bowl would guarantee Tony a spot. It's going to be very crowded field from this era and I just think there are a lot of Romo hating dopes in the media who will never believe Tony is a good QB regardless of what evidence they are presented with.

To answer your question, no... a 5 game regular season and a Super Bowl helps, but I don't think it moves the needle enough. Doesn't really have anything to do with Dak, he just wouldn't have put enough work in on the season.

What QBs get in so far, Rodgers, Brees, the Mannings, Big Ben and Brady. After that I think Romo's career is next with a Super Bowl victory (yes ahead of Newton and Wilson). You don't think 7 QBs get in from this era? Could be right. Though 7 made it in from the 90s era and Romo would seem to have the resume

P.S. with a Super Bowl victory I would probably put Romo ahead of a few of those QBs, at least Eli and probably Big Ben as he's always been good no matter what the team was like around him, but I can't see those two being kept out under any circumstances

Eli isn't HOF material.

Given the comparisons between Danny White and Romo, the answer is no. White won a SB early in his career. Romo winning a SB in a season where Dak and the rest of the team has done the heavy slogging early in the season to put the team in pole position will not do it.

Probably not in a shorten season . He'd probably still need another one. The longer his career extends his chances increase.

I guess it's hard to say. For example are Rodgers and Peyton even the same era? Peyton was drafted in 1998, and Rodgers was drafted in 2005 but didn't start a single game until 2008. That's a pretty big gap.
