I didn't see any recaps from anyone on his interviews with Tashard Choice and Troy Aikman etc.

Anyway, I highly recommend people listening to his show, even when he doesn't talk football he is fun to listen to.

Well, onto Tashard Choice, that guy was as excited today during the interview like he was just Drafted. He says he was and is a Cowboys fan. From what he said, its his Mother injury issues and Brothers in trouble that made him transfer from Oklahoma, not because of Adrian Peterson. Although he never mentioned Peterson I think.

He says, he will surprise people on how well he can run, since people always think he can't till he hits the field.

My impression was, as I saw in the Video posted here, giving his speach, we got another tremendous character guy and hard working guy. He says all he thinks and loves is Football.

That is good to hear about Choice. It sounds like he has made efforts to keep himself seperated from negative influences. Everything I have been able to find out about the guy sounds very good.

As for the Irvin and the radio station; I don't listen to 103.3 at all since they have Hansen and Galloway. They turn me off to the whole station.

As a Spurs fan, I am loving the Cowboys getting a ton of character guys....of course the Rain Man can offset all the character by himself........let's hope he gets his act together and becomes a solid citizen while in Dallas.

GOOD POST, i was thinking something guys, the way choice moved to help his mom and his brothers, maybe his influence will rub off on Pacman and he will see you surround yourself with good people, and leave if your around bad influences like when choice moved from oklahoma.

so maybe when choice talks about his life and sets example for pacman about family and good friends, he wiill be a good mentor for him.

I dont listen to Irvin anymore ....I was looking forward to his show...then after listening ive realized its really a nothing show....every time they try to cover a subject they get easily sidetracked and then spend WAY too much time on what they got side tracked on...they could start talking about Dallas vs Greenbay and 3 mins into it someone will say cheese heads then they spend the next 2 hours discussing cheeses..then they take calls about cheese..its just not my cup of tea......but im one of the few who like Galloway, Hanson and Hate...so maybe its just me

i listen to

10-3 Ticket
3-6 ESPN radio

if im in the truck driving thats when life is great and i get to listen to NFL radio

I'm hoping for the quick return of his true character which would eliminate the possibility of him wearing the star.

Tashard Choice is a very interesting draft pick.

Did we draft him:

A. strickly as leverage against MBIII should he and Felix perform well proving we have two legit RB's

B. because he filled a need

C. because he was the BPA at the time

D. a combination of any of those?

Hmmmmmmmmmm.

I will continue ot say this until the season gets started that Barber just may not be with the Boys next season because of Choice. He is that good and he adds something different with his style. he actually can carry the ball 20 times a game and Jones will still be the change of pace back. Just watch. he is really good!!

I am not a big fan of Irvin's show because it has so many side issues.
I do enjoy that he gets great interviewees on the air.

I generally listen to:

6-8 am whichever part I am driving in-- ESPN Mike and Mike.

Lunchtime-ish, Norm or Bob and Dan. With Norm I will only listen during football season or near the draft. Mix in some Irvin here.

4-6 whenever driving home-- Galloway. He is all schtick and it can get old but he is generally far more sports-minded than The Ticket's Hardline.

The only way Barber goes anywhere is because we traded him for Roy Williams.

Choice may be the next coming but we will not give up on Barber in any short term because of Choice.

The 103.3 site has a podcast of all the interviews.

Irvin is my favorite player of all time, but sometimes I can't stand his opinions. Especially when he talks about non-football related issues. He is wrong on several occasions and has too much pride to admit it. The show does get side tracked very often, ex: IF Darren McFadden having 10 kids would hurt his draft stock. I don't care, talk more about the Cowboys draft then a guy that was already picked by the Raiders.

He does have good interviews b/c of his star power.

I love listening to Galloway b/c i think he's pretty funny for an old man, and also like hearing Nate Newton chimming in off and on.

His opinions are wrong because you dont agree with them? Maybe I'm interpreting that the wrong way.

I don't know, personally I like that they side track. Anyway, I normally shut off Sports or Talk Station after Football Season. Only reason I listen to ESPN 103.3 is because Irvin is on and actually do like Nate on there as well.

And also Mosley is pretty funny. And yeah, Randy is funny, in his own wacky way. He is idiotic sometimes, but then he doesn't take himself too seriously, so thats ok.

I never listen to Irvin's show because he drives me nuts, but here are a couple of good interviews.

Felix:

How do you not love this guy's attitude?

Newman talking about Pacman (Only the second half -- first part is idiot Josh Howard):

BTW, Newman didn't sound jealous or anything like I'd read. Said he thought some people on the team might have doubts, but he would welcome him, give him the benfit of the doubt, and try to male him comfortable with the defense. Where do people get this stuff?
