Ogletree was just on with Irvin and it sounds like he's staying. No shortage of confidence with him. He said he slipped in the draft because he wasn't known as a great practice player. He said he didn't have any competition, but when the lights came on he was ready. It sounds like the lights in his head have come on too. He looks forward to practice and loves making plays in practice.

They asked him about breaking up the pass from Romo that was picked. He said Witten told him that it was his ball or nobody's ball. There was a miscommunication, but he and Romo cleared things up.

He's got the confidence of receiver. After the interview I like him even more.

No, and keep in mind, that Stanback was not Jerry's player, it was Jeff Ireland that wanted Stanback, and his pick.....

Nope. Ogletree was out there with the starters Saturday, so they weren't trying to hide him, and he made plays. He's on the roster.

And Jerry gets the information from the scouts. I doubt Jerry is scouting these players himself so he takes the feed back from those he has hired. I don't see blame here, we took a shot at a player and thus far he has not panned out. If there was such a thing as a crystal ball that could see what a player would do we would never miss on a player.
