Does anyone feel like we are never out of a game?

I've been watching the Cowboys since the early 70's and for the first time since then, it seems we are never out of a game. I really don't remember Aikman and Company coming back when down by 3 scores very many times. I know when Staubach was back there we always had a chance. Last season is when I started feeling like this. When we were down by 21 to the Rams, I just knew we were going to win that game. When we were down to the Lions, I just knew we would come back. I don't know if its because of Romo or what? It seems like this team almost always finds a way and it just seems like I haven't felt this way in many years. I think the ball has just been bouncing our way and we needed that. I get on here during the game but usually have to get off because if we don't play perfect the sky is falling. Some people just give up way too early......

I dont believe for a second that you "knew" the cowboys would win the Rams game. It was so early that I didnt think they were out of it, but if they were so good that you knew they would win, then there is no reason for them to have lost a single game.

I was watching that game with friends. I can't predict the future but wasn't worried. It was the Rams.

Have we already forgot about that Turkey Day thumping we took from the dirty green birds last year? We were never in it.

I agree, not to sound like i can predict the future either but at no point did i feel like that game was lost, my attitude at the time was along the lines of get your heads...(together) and fix this mess.

I didn't think dallas was still in it vs the 49ers. With me it's more like I always feel the other team is never out of the game vs dallas after those 8-8 seasons. Giving up 20 plus points leads and all that.

With this O-line, and the way Romo and Dez have proven to be dynamic even before this O-Line, I feel we are never out of a game.

Before last year? Hell yeah I would feel we were out of it.

For some reason though whenever guys like MO would be starting for us, and we have a small lead or need a stop, I lose all faith that we can stop a team.

So I feel more comfortable with us being the guys with Ball under 2 mins, either trying to come back, or playing keep away.

I like the improvements on D, but all it takes is 1 **** up, to derail the whole train. MO is our **** up. I do not wish to see him starting.

I don't know the numbers but it seems in the past a great deal of our games were decided by 2-3 points...

I think that in general, no lead is safe in the NFL.

The Eagles came back from a 21 point deficit to take a 24-21 lead, last December. Is that because Sanchez is a great comeback qb? Or just because on this day of wide open offenses and rules that favor the offense, no NFL lead is safe? I think its the latter.

However, if my team needs a comeback, no qb I would prefer than Romo.

I think this team has been really talented for a while. Our worst games were games with early mistakes and turnovers that kept us fighting to win games instead of dominating them early.

One thing I like about not having Murray here is that the team might be more aggressive in the passing game early, which will really help this defense.

I hope not. I don't want to start out pass-happy. I want an equilibrium throughout the game. Run to set up the pass, and take what the defense gives you.

That's just me.

Well..

You know this stuff runs in cycles.

So I believe we are in a good Kharma and Jerrah Jones is not really the Devil.

Rob Ryan was the Devil and we exorcized him.

So it's all good.

BTW..

Did you guys catch that video of Ryan dancing?

If that doesn't scare you...

nothing will.
