Great post.....that pretty much sums it up for me.

Alot of those guys remind me of Manu Ginobili. Although he is a hell of a basketball player.....I cant stand to watch him play because he does some of the same things as the soccer players in that video. Dirk does it as well just not as often as manu. Neither of those 2 guys can hold a candle to Vlade Divac when it comes to flopping however.

Man up and play!

if we will be in new uni's entering the new stadium? Sorry, if this is already posted.

Dallas has won 5 superbowls in basically the uniform they wear now, why would they change. I still can't figure out why San Fran changed theirs and they have 5, but I here they're going back to their classic 80s look this year. They realized you don't mess with history, neither should Jerry!

I'm fine with the blue/silver pants of the away uni's....it's the green/silver ones that make me scratch my head. The only change I could stomach is getting rid of that green tint.

Ya those are the ones im talking about, bluish silver, aqua or whatever color they call it

Seafoam green. Anyone who calls the current unis "classic" is probably under the age of 30.

Those are nasty to even look at. Silver pants with blue and white stripe, and white tops for away. Silver pants with blue and white stripe, navy blue tops for home games.

Whites at home are a tradition. I love the blues but don't mess with tradition.

My bro-in-law was a huge Rams fan until the late 90's or early 00's when they changed their uniforms. He dropped them after that just for that reason.

Your brother in law wasn't much of a Rams fan then.

And I can't believe that you guys call soccer, football. If you are watching soccer, you can fall asleep in the first half, wake up in the second half with a few minutes to play and nothing has changed. In American Football, every inch the ball is moved there is a story line unfolding. Very compelling compared to soccer.

if you think that nothing has happened then maybe you don't understand the sport? apart from the whole using the foot thing the main reason its called football and not soccer is that it has been called football for far longer than american football has been around. as for the video, that was hilarious. i was at the celtic milan game in the video with gillardino getting booked for diving when he realised he wasn't getting to the ball, crowd were baying for blood at that point. its infuriating but the players do it to get an advantage and will continue to do so until harsher punishments are brought in, besides it certainly makes a talking point which can only be a good thing in a sport you find so dull?

not been a fan of nfl for long enough to talk about the historical significance of changing the uniforms but if the fans feel strongly enough about it then surely it won't happen. i know a few years ago they changed the celtic shirt and put a white band on each side of the shirt running from under the armpit to near the bottom of the shirt which broke the green and white hoops for the first time since they were introduced nearly 100 years ago and the uproar from the fans ensured the following seasons top had the full hoops re-instated.

on a side note referring to the jerry jones shirt mentioned earlier i have to say i'm impressed that american sports teams don't have sponsorship logos on the uniforms.

BTW, about advertisements in NFL uniforms. Mr. Goodell would never allow such a travesty. The NFL is probably the most uniform professional league. And I like it that way.

I'd like to see the blue hue of the star at midfield made a little darker. The blue paint on the field at Texas Stadium always seems a little light and didn't match the uniforms.

I love the way the helmet matched the blue shade of the pants back then. The Joneses never should've messed with that. I like the metallic shine of the modern day pants, but they shouldn't have changed the color of the pants or the helmet.
