The only thing I know about it is to eat at Babe's. They serve giant portions of fried chicken and chicken fried steak. If you don't mind a little grease in your diet, the place comes highly recommended.

Roanoke is essentially just a suburb in the of middle of the Metroplex, it's close enough to Dallas, Fort Worth or any of the other major cities or attractions in the area that you can get there very easily if you so desire.

But the post above is right, "Babe's Chicken Dinner House" is good.
