They both suck. Meanwhile Philly upgrades in one offseason with Malcolm Jenkins.
This has always befuddled me. Dallas seems to be the only team in the league that can't get right at S. Other teams shuffle players in and out all the time and get solid results. Whether it's a vet signing or a draft pick. It's been a decade since Woody retired. I can only recall 2-3 seasons of good play from either S position. Roy gave us 2 good years and Hamlin his first year was solid. It's largely been a disaster outside of those 3 seasons
No. People tend to forget Wilcox played safety just one year in college and had an injury interrupt his rookie season a year ago. Let's give this kid a little more time; because he's a faster and much more athletic option back there than Jeff Heath.

He's at no point in his life shown the ability to play defense well. Yet he's the Dallas Cowboys starting FS. Think about that.
The fact of the matter is that he shouldn't have been drafted as high as he was and he should have never been asked to play so early. You don't go from playing D2 WR/RB to playing FS in the NFL in the matter of 2 years. And the fact that our front office didn't/and still doesn't recognize this sums up a lot.
Ga southern is not a d2 school smh. Sun belt conf is a D1 school. Meanwhile, Heath went to Saginaw Valley which is a D2.
Every single draft source thought he would go around where we took him. Your post couldn't be any more incorrect.
