Does getting Green and Thompson make up for passing on Sproles?

I know Terence Newman recommended Sproles, and a lot of people liked him.

Sproles is a better punt returner than Thompson, but they're both pretty decent at kick returning.

Do you guys think getting green now, balances things out, considering that Marion Barber is a better running back than sproles (so far anyways, but what can you expect when you are backing up LT)

I was high on Sproles last year until he started fumbling. If he doesn't fix that problem his tenure as a Charger will be short.

I like Sproles but I am fine with 'passing' on him. I believe he went before either Canty or Barber...and we didn't have a third round pick. If he didn't then I am glad we 'passed' on Sproles and took both Canty and Barber.

Sproles has always had a problem catching punts and kickoffs, especially at KSU. He lost that job at KSU halfway through the season. I think passing him up was a good decision. Great runner, but not trustworthy in catching the ball.

I liked Sproles too.... but he's too small the be much of a RB because he won't eb able to take the pounding. His future is pretty much only as a returner.

I'm fine with not getting him though, because we got Barber to be a backup RB, AND Canty because we passed on him. How can you possibly complain about that?

Throw in that we adressed things this year as far as ST..... and you really can't second guess it.

Green played hurt and it cost him. If he is recovered from his ankle sprain he will be fun to watch. Dave Meggett and Steve Smith? I sure hope so.

crayton was better at punt returns than sproles, he only avg 6 yds per return ,and thompson was a better kick return guy. sproles had too many fumbles too.
