I just can't believe the nine lives this cat has......

With Hamilton being suspended, Matt Johnson cut, and bringing in a kid off the cut list.... I just don't see him getting the ax.

Does he deserve to make it??? I don't think so....but who else you gonna count on?

I hope he gets a bit quicker and more instinctive in his play (ie - does he have an upside actually playing safety). But with the suspension and since he is one of our Number 1 special teams players, YES, he makes the team for now.....
I think he has been a liability at safety, but he is still developing hopefully......

I don't understand all the hate for this guy. He's an undrafted guy who has a lot of physical upside, who stays healthy, and who was thrown into the fire last year. A good team wouldn't have put a guy like him in that situation last year.

We may get a safety via the final cuts. If that comes to pass, anything goes -- Heath could then be cut himself, or not.

He's the 2nd most experienced Safety on the roster. I'm fairly certain that he make the 53.

Exactly. If a guy like Hamilton had been forced to start as a rookie UDFA, then people would hate him now and would have been wanting to keep Heath.

I think there's a chance that getting lit up all last year might actually help him. Look how awful high drafted rookie QBs are. But that year of being awful helps them progress. And rookie DBs, even the 1st rounders, usually have lots of trouble. I don't even think Vacarro started last year. So I think this kid has a lot going for him. A physical beast, stays healthy, and has a year of experience. Hopefully last year didn't traumatize him. But if it did, he's still a good special teams player. We did have the best special teams in the league last year, I believe.

He got an award for workouts in off season. And he is fast. He is making 53
