If he was putting his life before anything he'd quit smoking dope.
There's a reason it's called dope.

How many snaps has Gregory taken for us since we drafted him? There's your answer. Where is he now? still suspended ,unavailable and hasn't asked for reinstatement yet. That's telling. What good is loyalty if said player isn't here and available? Zeke , where is he? How do ya think he will function with the new playbook without having been in camp learning and getting chemistry down? YUP...again, theres why Jerry's Loyalty has failed the team. Love Zeke, he's been awesome...but he is letting the team down. Business is business, but it could have waited til next year.
Lol that has nothing to do with anything. Weed is better than opiates, anti depressants etc. getting a trophy growing up has absolutely nothing to do with someone smoking weed.Yeah, just what our screwed up society needs. More self medicated morons that aren’t equipped to be adults because they weren’t awarded enough participation trophies.
Since he's not taking up a roster spot or salary cap room, I simply don't care. Hope he gets the right help. You don't think both Irving and Gregory have mental health issues? They're more alike than they aren't.
Both are great guys off the field. Super interviews. Bright and funny. Very likable dudes with massive football talent. Seem to have the world by a string.
But a month away from it all, and they go completely dark. Off the deep end.
Bipolarity? Sociopathic (which 10% of people are)? Deeply depressed? All of the above?
But we're told this was a missed test.
Shouldn't they cut this guy loose and never mind? Get him set up for help, but let him go.
wrong. Loyalty hurts when you don't understand when to say when and give it up. No matter how talented a player is. Hurts the team just the same.
Lolol in 50 years weed will be normal for everyone’s use. It’s not a bad thing
NOT BEING AVAILABLE IS HOW. Serves the team no purpose. Quinn is questionable already for week 1..lets face it. We are thin. How does standing by Gregory hurt the team? You have still not laid out the rationalization behind suggesting that the Cowboys backing Gregory here "hurts" the team. I mean they clearly aren't banking on him for certain. They went out and traded for Quinn as insurance. They drafted a DE in Jackson. So again, where's the downside here?
let me lay it out: IS HE HERE AND AVAILABLE? NO. How does that help the team? answer...it doesn't. Hope that helps. your welcome. NEXT.How does standing by Gregory hurt the team? And because he doesn't cost a roster spot. I simply don't care if we try to help him on a personal level. Good for us.The ONLY reason Gregory hasn’t been cut is that the FO spent a second round pick on him and they don’t want to admit it was a bad move. They don’t want to look bad, but they fail to realize they already do when it comes to this move. Gregory has rarely been on the field, and when he has played he’s been underwhelming. He’s just not worth the distraction, publicity, or the effort.

Especially if you don't care for success and productivity.Lol that has nothing to do with anything. Weed is better than opiates, anti depressants etc. getting a trophy growing up has absolutely nothing to do with someone smoking weed.
yup..I'm sad...Gregory is probably hitting the bong as we speak !
Ohhh, poor guy !, the emotional problems !

Apparently you didn’t get it. People that constantly use any drug are using it for a coping mechanism. We’ve become a society that is too pussified to handle day to day issues. If something doesn’t go right in many peoples’ lives, they just can’t handle it. They self medicate, act out in various ways, etc. Far too many people today have an entitled attitude and can’t handle any type of failure or setback. In other words, “the participation trophy generation”. It’s pathetic.Lol that has nothing to do with anything. SYDIA, not tryin to bust your balls here lol...but you seriously counting on a rookie in Joe Jackson or even Jelks to get any significant reps in games? We haven't even completed camp yet or played a preseason game. That's a HUGE risk in using that logic. Rookies at that position rarely contribute in year 1.
no...I'm saying we need to cut bait if he isn't getting his act together enough to help us now. I'm also saying, we better make a move if at all possible for some further depth at the position...preferably not a green rookie. You are all over the place. You are basically making the argument now that they probably should stick with Gregory and try to get him back because Jelks and Jackson aren't good enough. So in that sense, then yeah, they should probably stick by Gregory and hope he gets reinstated.
In reality, the Cowboys went out and traded for Quinn, largely because of the issues facing Gregory.
