I am going to say "no" though one could make a strong case for "yes". I just don't see how a QB can get into the Ring of Honor with only two playoff wins.

Right now, the QBs in the RoH are Dandy Don, Staubach and Aikman. So you'd put Romo in over Danny White?

If anything, I think we need to wait 5 years and then reflect on the Romo years with some historical perspective.

Witten is the greatest TE in Dallas history. Top 5 all time in the NFL. Romo isn't top Three in Dallas QB history. Much less NFL history.

Well, I don't know. I mean granted, he probably played the position better than any QB ever to wear The Star, but c'mon 2 playoff wins? It's not like you can blame that on mediocre defenses.
Or the qb

Took forever. Romo will definitely not have to wait.
It won't be next year but romo won't wait too long
Players who played for Jerry in their career obviously are moved along faster than those before

Jerry let him keep his 5 million dollar signing bonus and you think there's even a question about ring of honor? He is 100 percent a lock. As is Ware. When all is said and done three of the current O lineman will be in the ROH as well.

I don't want to rouse you from your slumber, but have you ever checked to see how many "playoff winz" Dandy Don has? The problem with people having phony standards to keep players out of the RoH is that there is already someone in there who is below the standard.

If Don Meredith is in ........ yes.

Danny White isn't.... Jimmy Johnson isn't...

Romo is going to go down as the most over hyped player in Cowboys history. How people can over look his multiple failures and still think this guy walks on water is beyond me.

Really weird he gets hurt last season...and we manage to go 13-3?

I think the arguement could be made he has held this team back for a long... long time...more than he has help it move forward. I would have cut bait after that collasal 44-6 thrashing vs the Eagles that decided the 2008 season.

Week 17: vs. Dallas Cowboys

1 2 3 4 Total
Cowboys 3 0 0 3 6
Eagles
3 24 17 0 44
at Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia

Losses by the Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier in the day gave the Eagles the help they needed and created a situation where the winner between the Eagles and Dallas Cowboys would earn a playoff berth. In the first quarter, the Eagles scored first with a 40-yard field goal from kicker David Akers. The game would soon be tied by Cowboys kicker Nick Folk's 37-yard field goal. In the second quarter, the Eagles took control when quarterback Donovan McNabb found Correll Buckhalter for a 59-yard catch-and-run, then snuck the ball up the middle himself for touchdown. McNabb completed a 4-yard touchdown pass to Buckhalter later in the quarter, then hit tight end Brent Celek for a 1-yard touchdown pass as Philadelphia took a 24–3 lead. A kick return fumble by Pacman Jones with five seconds left in the half allowed the Eagles to close out the half with a David Akers 50-yard field goal. A gadget play where Jason Witten passed 42 yards to Terrell Owens took Dallas into Philadelphia territory, but Brian Dawkins sacked Tony Romo, causing a fumble which was recovered and returned for a touchdown by Chris Clemons. On the Cowboys' next drive, Marion Barber fumbled (Also caused by Dawkins) inside the Eagle 5-yard line, and Joselio Hanson returned the ball 96 yards for a touchdown and it was now 41–3 Eagles. A Chris Clemons sack of Romo caused another fumble, which led to a field goal and 44–3 lead. The Eagles forced five turnovers, Buckhalter had 122 yards from scrimmage, and McNabb had a pair of touchdown passes and one rushing score. Philadelphia ended the regular season at 9–6–1, but more importantly, they had improbably clinched the NFC's #6 seed.

I could care less about your stupid and biased opinion.

Anyone with half a brain could see he did not have the surrounding cast the others who are mentioned did.

Yep, Romo "never had the surrounding cast" in over 10 years as a starter of the Dallas Cowboys

Not even once

It is not all on Romo but he was the starting QB so he has to shoulder a huge share of the burden

Does Jerry put his boy in the ROH, maybe next year or the year after? He does own practically every passing record in Cowboys history so it would not be a total surprise. However, he doesn't have a lot of post season success, only 2 playoff wins.

So does Jerry do it? I say yes, I think Jerry puts him in the ring next year.
He goes in with Witten and Ware
