Ok guys, with all the talk that Todd Archer has said as well as cowboys fans about missing OTA's, my question is does T O, Terry Glenn, Roy Williams, & Fergueson really care about team unity, heart, desire to win, because to me, it seems that they dont. You build team chemistry during the offseason, they are the ones that signed the big contracts, said that they loved the Dallas Cowboys, yet at OTA's that are voluntary they dont show up.
To me, its time us fans make our concerns documented to those above mentioned players, why aren't you in these practices learning the new offense and defense systems. Are you another Jeremey Shockey, that refuses to participate, but want to practice in your own home area. Shockey and Burriss WR did that, and the timing with Manning was off.
Even the great Troy Aikman said you need the timing in offseason to get your timing patterns down. So, T O, Terry Glenn, Roy Williams & Fergy why arent you in these offseason workouts getting your new systems down and learning? I question your heart and desire.
Even in the early 70's, Roger Staubach would work out with rookie Drew Pearson, while Rayfield Wright would after pratice, spend an extra hour with Harvey Martin showing him things. If these guys realized that it takes extra work, desire and heart to be champions, what does that say about your desires.
Even Trent Greene QB for the Chiefs was angry at the coach for not allowing a trade to be made during the draft, so he could get in, view the offense, get the timing down with the WRs and TEs, so if he says its very important to get timing down, learn the plays etc, what does that say about your desire and heart to put in the extra work T O, Terry Glenn, Roy Williams & Fergy, while mentioning Julius Jones too, whom has missed some workouts.
Do you really care about being a Dallas Cowboy and care about the fans? Like Roy Williams, each year, he comes in about 242 or so, which we all know, he needs to be about 225 or so, reports are coming out the last few years, that Roy Willliams isnt a dedicated workout warrior to get in top shape. So, what do you say now Roy?
