I'll say it again, the team went through the nonsense with Hardy, now it is time to benefit from what he can be...the Gregory doofus moves does not Impact my thought process on this at all...get Bosa at well with #4

with moves like joseph randle and now Gregory and hardy its no wonder with the leader ship in the front office that this team has only won three playoff games in twenty years. these are the mistakes that consistent losers make.

I was on the re-sign Gerg Hardy wagon before, and Gregory's suspension only reinforces my opinion. You now have one known weakness at defensive end, a player unavailable for at least four games, if not more if he screws up again.

I'm not about to create an even bigger hole by watching one of the few candidates to fill the role walk out the door. And I'm also not interested in being locked into taking heat another pass rusher with a high pick. We've already invested a 2nd and 3rd rounder in 2014 and a 2nd rounder in 2015.

just like Von Miller when he failed his test and tried to conspire with the collector to replace his sample but got caught and got 6 games and then came back to be MVP of the Super Bowl

I get the comparison, however, Greg was passed over 59 times in the draft BECAUSE of his pot problem. Sounds like he failed at least 3 drug tests after the combine.

This sounds like it goes well beyond the issues Von Miller had. Gregory sounds like an addict who absolutely can't help himself.

Yeah imagine having screwups like aqib talib lagarret blount and von miller on your team. How would you ever win the big game?

True, however, Gregory failing 4 drug tests in a span of 6 months when the whole reason there were major doubts about him the first place is a whole another level of stupid.

Why would we draft a Strong side defensive end at 4? We already have Tank on the strong side.

But it's totally safe and non-addictive! but, but, Alcohol!

I personally believe marijuana is safer than alcohol and I think it should be legalized and taxed.

That isn't the point though. If someone tells you not to eat cheetos and they'll pay you millions, then you don't eat cheetos.

Bosa got suspended in college for drugs and was forced by his parents to live like a hermit because he couldn't avoid the temptations of college football.

As I said in the other thread. Sign Hardy, Irvin, Mario, etc. We need NOW pass rushers amd as many as we can get. Even if Gregory hadn't gotten in trouble.

On another note this all goes back to Jerry always trying to circumvent the system and getting players on the cheap. The PacMans, Hardy, Gregory, etc. etc. Talented players but issues and affordable.

They produced....Von Miller is the Superbowl MVP...Talib is a shutdown CB that produces week after week....OH by they way they have a Superbowl RING.....The Cowboys got NOTHING in the last 20years......and still gambling on high risk players.....Randel is on the street, (stealing underwear/getting suspended), Gregory has ZERO sacks but 4 drugs violations along with a 4 game suspension....then you have all the baggage of Hardy....anyone remember...the rainmaker in Big D ...the PACMAN...

Jerry Jones is an Al Davis clone.....the game has passed them bye.

Dallas is desperately in need of a seasoned and dominant pass rusher and Greg Hardy fits the bill! Even though he had a sub-par year in 2015, the Boys should re-sign him to a decent contact. At least Hardy has done it before and is relatively young by NFL standards. We have watch the Boys struggle enough to get pressure on the quarterback year in and year out. They will have no chance to win without quality qb pressure. The lack of Defensive talent is alarming with so many jags on this D. Only Hardy, Tank, Lee, and sometimes McClain are solid NFL defenders. With Crawford and Jones as possible up and comers. The rest are scrub central! With the usual suspects on this Defense, they have almost no constant pressure aside from Hardy and Tank. So to extract Hardy and say some rookie is going to change things on this D is the same wishful thinking that has been going on in Dallas for years. Bring Hardy back, add someone in free agency and in the draft. Then maybe the Boys can put a Defense together to help our offense mount a quality season. Otherwise, we go into the season holding our breath and hoping for the best that has not happened in almost twenty years!:-(

I agree with you if it's for the right price. With all the baggage Hardy has, plus is sub-par year, you don't break the bank on this guy. He was out of football for a year, save one game, and that likely accounts for his not being as dominant as he once was. After a full year of playing, some good conditioning and training camp, there's a good chance he can be a dominant force. I still think the team needs to look to the draft.

He won't be expensive but he won't be cheap either. I can see a 3 year contract for 18-24 million.

Gregory did nothing this past season so his situation won't change anything with Hardy. Hardy is gone and Gregory may not be far behind.
