Does your view of Delane (CB) change after watching this?

Or are you comfortable believing he improved enough in one year?

His coverage stats were much better this year(per PFF) rec% dropped from 47% to 37%. 7 TD's allowed in 2024 to 0 in 2025. His VT career wasnt super impressive. 3rd/4th round level. Gave up a whopping 16 yards a reception in 2024

I like him overall, but I think 12 is rich for him. I think he is more of a 20-25 caliber. There your expectation can be getting a top 20 CB and a decent #1. 12 you want a guy that you expect becoming a top 10 CB and possibly a shut down CB

Getting cooked by a wr that went undrafted and ran a 4.6 just 2 years ago is a bit concerning. Definitely wouldn't take him with 12 either. It would help him alot of he had elite measurables but his recovery speed looks.......suspect.

Mansoor is going to be a make or break player at the combine. If he is 6’0 with above average arm length and runs a 4.4 he will be a top 12 pick. If he comes up short he will fall.

Like I have stated, there is not a CB in this draft I would take in the top 20 picks.

A few could end up being pretty good, but there is no locks imo.

we can find a corner in the later rounds. Even with the comps maybe. Go with sure things early please
I don't know about that. Most of the best guys go in round 1. There will be guys worth 20 when we pick. Delane is risky to me though. He improved this year sure but I don't see how he improved his recovery speed. The video I posted looked like he was running in sand. Maybe he was hurt. I don't know

Doesn't bother me. How many college prospects have together two first round level seasons? They're out there, but there's not many.

This subforum's draft crush, Ruebin Bain, would have been lucky to get drafted on Day 3 if he declared after last season.

DB's will continue to struggle without a pass rush.
The first play had nothing to do with pass rush though. Neither did some of the other plays really bec the qb got rid of the ball pretty quick. I'm not saying I don't like him anymore just definitely not at 12.

It's only one game .........
With Delane, there are things to like and things to be concerned with. His skill set is pretty versatile. He should be able to play both boundry and slot effectively. We dont really have that ( its my opinion that Bland is not a legitimate slot CB). However his long speed could be a match up problem for us. And you have to wonder which tape to trust. 2024 or 2025

I think DB is where JJ and co should spend some FA $.
