That’s not what you said though. You said ANY QB and that is what ksk was responding to. You changed the goal posts. You might need a new dealer if you think Raiders are trading the first overall pick or passing up Mendoza so Dolphins can get him.
Tua with Lamb and Pickens would be spectacular.
If you were following the gist of the conversation, we were talking about Miami’s situation. He is correct, there isn’t a QB in the draft who would start for them day one. I can’t speak for him but I believe we were both under the assumption that Mendoza will go to Vegas, so there was no need to even mention him. That’s not what you said though. I didn’t read it that way but I get it.If you were following the gist of the conversation, we were talking about Miami’s situation. I didn’t change anything just because you got lost isn’t on me. The poster I replied to said this is a terrible draft to be looking for a qb. I never assumed he was including Mendoza in that bunch. It’s a forgone conclusion Mendoza is gonna be the first pick on the draft. Goal post isn’t what you are defining please look for another phrase to use. That’s not what you said though. Thank you. Everything I’ve seen Raiders are sticking with Mendoza. At this point the draft is starting at pick 2. So yeah like you said there’s no need to mention him the have no shot at him. I’d rather sign a vet and pick a successor next year. Very strange year for QBs but it’s happened before. If you were following the gist of the conversation, we were talking about Miami’s situation. I think they ride with Ewers until 2027. If he plays above expectations, then they don’t have to draft a QB next year.Thank you. Everything I’ve seen Raiders are sticking with Mendoza. Yeah I forget Ewers is over there. Sort of shocked the talk of the draft was show Shedeur fell. Ewers in the 7th to me was a shock even with his struggles.I think they ride with Ewers until 2027. If he plays above expectations, then they don’t have to draft a QB next year.
With that dead cap hit, that's an apt comparison. He was so great at Alabama, reminded me of a left handed Russell Wilson... surprised at the level of fail
He's probably going to end up in Cleveland or MN. Depends on how much he weighs money vs winning and rehabbing his career. MN would be an instant contender with him at QB. I don't think McConnel is super impressed with JJ Mcarthy and the GM who drafted him is out of a job. Tua just needs a solid OL that can give him a pocket. Dude can sling the ball.
Think the biggest issue is teams will be scared of his concussion issues….Remember how unstoppable he was at Alabama? He was a sure fire NFL franchise QB. Did he go to the wrong team? Quite possibly. He instantly joins the club of QB's who rotate around the league for a few more years until they finally burn out. Maybe he has a career comeback like Darnold.
I agree. I think if A-aron wasn't there, the Steelers might bite. But, I think they are looking to tank and reboot the oldest roster in the NFL. Thats why they hired a re-tread HC for the first time in their history and are keeping a 41 year old QB who looked pedestrian last year.Or Pittsburgh

Yep, one more and it should be early retirement.Think the biggest issue is teams will be scared of his concussion issues….
I think Tua is going to gravitate toward the best situation for him to get his career back on track. I don't see Pittsburgh being a place to do that nor do I think Pittsburgh is looking to win games next year. The 2027 QB draft is looking strong. Rodgers and Will Howard are looking like a 4 win team. You put Tua in there, and they can probably get back to 8-9 wins. Thats been the problem in Pittsbug. They have been stuck in the middle for most of the last 15 years missing out on opportunities to draft elite QB prospects. They still haven't been able to replace Big Ben.I agree they need to tank, but Tua wouldn't be a bad backup for them. Especially if they're not comfortable with Howard as the backup.
