Dolphins expected to release Tua

I think Tua is going to gravitate toward the best situation for him to get his career back on track. I don't see Pittsburgh being a place to do that nor do I think Pittsburgh is looking to win games next year. The 2027 QB draft is looking strong. Rodgers and Will Howard are looking like a 4 win team. You put Tua in there, and they can probably get back to 8-9 wins. Thats been the problem in Pittsbug. They have been stuck in the middle for most of the last 15 years missing out on opportunities to draft elite QB prospects. They still haven't been able to replace Big Ben.

I could see that. I suppose if not Pittsburgh, I would probably watch for him to go to the Chargers. His old HC is there, and I think him behind Herbert might be good for him. Or, I'd probably see him going to Minnesota.

You might need a new dealer if you think Raiders are trading the first overall pick or passing up Mendoza so Dolphins can get him.
Stop. You proclaimed that Kyler is better than anyone in this draft. Don't be twisting crapp around now. If you didn't mean it the way you said it, then say so.

If that were the case, he would have been continuously spectacular with Cheetah and Waddle, but he fell off. Having Lamb and Pickens won't improve his decision making and accuracy.
There's no way he believes this. IMO he's just spewing some crapp trying to get a response.

I think they ride with Ewers until 2027. If he plays above expectations, then they don’t have to draft a QB next year.
I always thought UT didn't do Ewers any favors. Dude has some very good QB skills, but needs the right OC to utilize. I think he could be a good starting QB in the NFL.

After watching what they did to Arch, UT needs a better OC a lot more than they need a QB. That system they run just sucks.

I never said Kyler was better than anyone in this draft. I said I’d rather look at Kyler than anyone in this draft. I wasn’t including Mendozza but for the record I wasn’t referencing him since Raiders are drafting him.

You jumped into this conversation and that’s cool but when you guys just jump in you completely miss the context. The poster I replied to even has come in and said we weren’t including Mendozza.

Lulz, Tua is not a +4 win QB.

If the Raiders didn’t have the #1 pick this draft (to draft Mendoza), I think you could have written it in stone that they would have signed Kyler Murray.

OK, but everyone cruises through posts just reading them. Maybe make a little addition and say "Not name Mendoza.

Posts are standalone things.

If you see a statement you disagreed with you easily could’ve clicked my posts or the one I was responded to but instead you chose to claim my dealer was bad lol. That’s what I do if I see something that seems off I go and see the post and what was replied for clarity. I admit I assumed everyone thought Mendozza wasn’t available because Raiders were getting him.

If I had to bet, it would be MN. They paid Justin Jefferson all that money and need a QB who can get him the ball. If Tua has time, he can sling it.

Tua was my favorite QB in college. Yes, Tua was surrounded with talent around him but the guy could really spin it and was the definition of PPP (perfect product placement). His downfall was not being able to stay healthy, not in college and not in the pros. His third concussion was really the final nail in the coffin to the point he was starting to see ghosts in the pocket. And I can't really blame the guy because multiple concussion in that short time frame, any sane guy would have that in the back of his head while playing.

I could see that, and O'Connell is going to need another chance to replay his "QB whisperer" brand after the disaster this past season with McCarthy. I could see his seat being as hot as a BBQ grill going into the season.

Dude needs to retire while he still has at least some coherent thought.
Yeah, this is the perfect time to start looking for the second career.

The rigours and demands of the NFL is no place for him anymore. You hope his ex-HC would have a great talk with him about life after the NFL. You also hope the NFL and the NFLPA would have a great talk with him about life after the NFL.

Im hoping thats the case because I really can't take anyone seriously who says Tua would be great with Lamb and Pickens.

If you took away the Buccaneers and Jaguars, Tua still isn't in the top 5 best quarterbacks in the state of Florida.
