Donovan Ezeiruaku had surgery for hip labrum tear

Maybe, just maybe, he was trying to get a 2nd opinion on the best course of action for his injury. And that's why it took so long. Why must everyone assume that he did this to avoid the offseason activities? No one knows.
dude, how long does it take to get a second opinion? LIKE A WEEK, so that excuse is right up there with the dog ate my homework

Article on ESPN by Todd Archer that says the surgery was performed 5 weeks ago. Others saying end of January!
Please don't post facts here when opinions make for better drama. Come on, man!

When Rocky climbs out from under the soil it’s the same thing don’t question the Pravda machine . Season realistically over three months ago but the 2nd rounder has hip labrum timing issues in March .

Perfect.
Anyone see Eze position zoom to the top of the draft picture in April . New scheme outside LBer .

Fun fact: when I was a kid, we had a pair of goats in our backyard (in the middle of a city). One morning, we heard screams and cries from some kids. Apparently they got too close to the fence, and one of the goats was eating some papers they had. Apparently, it was their homework. I can only imagine what these kids said to their teacher at school. "Miss Teacher, I did my homework, but a goat ate it!!"

Well if he moves to 3-4 lber...he can avoid some of those collisions that happen in the 4-3 with a weak lb corp behind you. Hopefully offseason recovery, 2nd year of playing and a more friendly scheme spares his body the worst.

And it begins!

we usually find out after the season

MAYBE THIS OPENS THE DOOR for Sam WIliams to return??
Sam Williams never had a chance here as he literally looks like he could be Parsons brother. I had high hopes for Williams, I think we should keep him, nice depth and one day might have a 10 sack season 1 year. Hopefully with us

too many bonehead plays; not just penalties

Are you telling me people didn't actually read and went straight into whine mode automatically? The hell you say!

With labrum tears, doctors usually go the conservative treatment route at first. If that fails, then they scope it. Labral reconstruction is the worse scenario but I would think we would know if it was that serious.

Surgery five weeks ago sounds about right if they tried the non-invasive treatment for a few weeks.

I always find it somewhat entertaining, Not in a good way that everyone in here is a doctor, they have better advice for these players than they're getting from their own people; trainers; rehab; doctors...

they're all handling it and I'm bet if he didn't get the surgery right away it's because he was probably having rehab which started probably with either a steroid type injection like cortisone, or plasma/stem cells, and they usually try to get it to heal before they end up with surgery.

but most people have reported that he had it not just yesterday ,it was a while back, and that he may miss the start of some of this Otas and offseason, but he should be back sometime in camp it doesn't sound bad at all like all these people are saying that UH OH!!!

this might be career ending, the sky is falling, Lookout ,put your helmet,s Pieces of our players are going to hit us in the head...ughhh smh!!!:popcorn:

He was a 3-4OLB last season, it shouldn’t be a big change for EZ. Of his 595 snaps over 400 of those were at LB.

That is brutal! Both mine tore due to impingement issues. A whiz kid young DR was able to repair mine via arthroscopic procedure. That was 2009.
Yeah, I had to arthroscopic too. unfortunately, for me it never did get better

1 year under his belt and he already learned how to avoid TC.

New culture.

Good job!
The great news is that they jumped on doing surgery immediately after the season ended......thus giving him the best chance to return as early as possible.

Cowboys repeatedly are on top of these things
