Donovan Ezeiruaku had surgery for hip labrum tear

The great news is that they jumped on doing surgery immediately after the season ended......thus giving him the best chance to return as early as possible.

Cowboys repeatedly are on top of these things
I knew the "happened 5 weeks ago" would get lost in this chain and the criticisms would start immediately from internet Doctors, lol

What the heck does it have to do with anything? I was just simply sharing my experience.

FYI before the injury I ran sub 11 in the 100.
You’re not an elite athlete under the care of professional sports doctors. Now do you understand?

Here we go....

" Donovan Ezeiruaku is set to “miss most of the spring offseason program” with a repaired hip labrum.”

So he'll be completely healthy and ready to start training camp, right?

But then........

Since these tweets are in two different zones, here’s a summary

McCoy - Obviously because he missed the entire season with an ACL and Jerry said they don’t want red shirt seasons from draft picks

Eze - this is the defender mentioned. Labrum surgery and will miss the offseason. He needed the work and the weight room so this seems really bad luck.

Aubrey - Seemed pretty obvious they were going to sign him. All the stuff leaked about his $10m demand was completely unsubstantiated, he denied it, and now the team is sending the good vibe again. Business as usual for this front office

GP - same story. Nothing new here but Cowboys saying how excited GP is to be here and giving every indication that it will be on the tag. The “One Person” being GP and his willingness to take below market. Rumors from GPs camp that off season work wont happen on the tag, which is normal and expected in these situations

Free Agents - nothing shocking. All included mainly because there’s some connection to Parker in their history. This isn’t coming from the team just speculation
  • Eagles Linebacker Nakobe Dean,
  • Packers linebacker Quay Walker,
  • Texans outside linebacker E.J.
  • Speed, Broncos linebacker Alex Singleton
  • Raiders cornerback Eric Stokes,
  • Cardinals safety Jalen Thompson
  • Eagles safety Reed Blankenship,
  • Broncos cornerback P.J. Locke
  • Ravens defensive end Dre’Mont Jones.
Restructure - Total savings (pushed into future years) : $94,209,340 which would put the team $38,075,436 in the green

That’s pretty significant. I’ve never had a hip surgery but my shoulder labrum tear took 9 months before I was back to normal. I know there are different grades of tear. Let’s hope it was just cleaning up the edges.
Hip surgery recovery is much easier. I had it.

interesting that about Aubrey. Tell me they were not the ones leaking the $10 million dollar claim

The only concern I have is the amount of offseason work he's going to miss. As a young, developing player he needs as much as he can get.

Instead I see a situation where camp opens and EZ is on PUP running on the cords until the middle of August.

I had hip labrum tears. For some reason they heal quicker than shoulder labrum tears. As long as physio and recovery go well for him, he will be 100%
easy to immobilize a shoulder, not so much a hip. Also the hip is weird joint now days even the most aggressive replacements have you up and moving within 24-48 hours.

They get much better rehab but it’s a slow process. Been nice if he’d done it right after last games

Of course they were. The same day the usual media puppets reported the $10m number, Aubrey tweeted to a fan who linked the 10m and said “fake”.

It’s business as usual for this front office

  1. Tell the fans how much you love a player
  2. Tell the fans that the player said “I love you too”
  3. Leak rumors, lies, dirt, to media sock puppets
  4. Watch fans turn on the player
  5. Tell the fans “gee whiz, we thought he loved us but we’re not giving up because our love is pure!”
  6. Lowball player as fans go “Reeeee! Ungrateful! Greedy!”
  7. Profit as player caves
It works more often than it should.

When players dig in and don’t give in to the nonsense, Jerry does something stupid like pay more than what was needed (Dak, Emmitt, CeeDee) or dump the player (Micah, Dez)

Yea it has greatly improved since 2012 when I had mine. I was on a walker for a few weeks. Took me 4 months to not use a cane.
