Tony Romo 6 yr 55 million dollar extension. Wow really, with one playoff win. You got to be kidding me

LOL. McNabb is salty.

As @SportsTaxMan points out, Tony Romo pays no state tax in Texas so he saves about $1.8 million annually on his $18 mil per year deal.

Most guaranteed money in NFL history: Tom Brady, $57 million; Tony Romo, $55 million; Drew Brees, $55 million: Joe Flacco, $51 million.

The guys on NFL Live on ESPN were just laughing at the McNabb comment. When I watch McNabb on NFLN, he always seems super bitter and butthurt to me.

How many SB did Donovan win again? I remember him choking and puking crunch time to lose one. I remember him choking and throwing a pick 6 against the Bucs to lose a shot to go the Super Bowl.

McNabb is the poster boy for choking QB's, it is funny he would comment on someone else.

He got traded at 32/33.. Romo got a 106m contract.

Eagles fans, one more (final) time who is the better QB?

To be fair to McNabb, the guy does have 9 playoff wins(?). Give him credit.

McNabb was also at one point the highest-paid player in the NFL, I think, a long time ago.

Does he forget when he got a monster contract from the Skins when he had already fallen off the cliff, skill-wise?

Perhaps but those wins really belong mostly to Jimmy Johnson's defensive coaching and Andy Reid's QB friendly offensive system.

Mcnabb is absolutely right, it's no wonder why the Cowboys never win, over paying for aging players, this is just another example of that...

The way it was setup he only got like $3.5 guaranteed.

Of course he crashed and burned, fell out of the league and gave up on that 'good guy' persona he was faking all those years. He's just a bitter man at this point that wishes his career ended on a better note.

When Romo inevitably gets asked about McNabb's comment, it would be gold if he just responded with "who?".

Although I think the QB position by its nature gets overpaid, I respect the fact that you are opposed to it by his age rather than by his talent.

Look at how the Patriots treated Welker and Seymour as opposed to Brady. You gotta be competitive at the QB position or you have no shot.
