Amazingly...you're right.

I'm under 29 and I would do exactly what Tony does, I too would lead the Cowboys to disappointing seasons and turn the ball over too much!

I would do the same... except....

I would get TO the Rock and not stare down Witten for all DC's to see.

Thats interesting, because the vast majority of Romo's mistakes and bad plays come when he tries to force the ball to 81, not 82.

I dont disagree with you, you are right.

This happens because he tries to get TO involved with 2:13 left in the 2nd Quarter. EVERYONE on defense knows its only a matter of time before Tony will force the ball to him. You can see body language and know its going to happen.

I fault JG for that but you are right.

So any criticism of Romo constitutes a "hater" now?
This has been the way of the world ever since whatever idiot coined the term "hater" years ago and all the lemmings fell in line. I wish "hater" and "agenda" were banned words here on the forum.

90% of this board under the age of 29 or however old is Tony would do the same thing! Let the man live his life, a human life is much more important than a game...

and he is better than Chad Hutchinson/Ryan Leaf, Clint Stoerner and Stanback combined!

I would agree his personal life is just that personal and really no one’s business. He also has a job to do and should be judge on that good and bad. I think he can do the job but he is not going to do it alone it is going to take a team to win. In my view that is the biggest hurdle this group has, I think we have the talent as much as any of the top teams but these guys have to come together and play like a team.

Probably exactly the same way that people who do like to point out bad things, or talk about criticism like throw around the 'homer' tag when someone doesn't immediately agree with them.

Apparently that's the way it works on teh internet.

Like I said the same way you like to immediately tag people as idiots, or homers, cause they don't agree with your view on something.

Not quite. They are idiots or homers because they are idiots and/or homers.

*nods* Sure, whatever bro. Like I said you call people that when they won't agree with you on something.

No different than people throwing around the hater tag (Myself included cause I've done it as well) when someone doesn't agree with them on another subject.

I agree but he's gotta learn how to seperate his personal life and his business life. I mean Jerry ain't paying him 67 mill to date Carrie Under.. I mean Jessica Simpson, and be more concerned on which magazine he's going to be on next.

Tony does not talk about his relationship everyone else does. Who Tony dates is his business that has nothing to do with football. It is like when some fans claimed she was a jinx because she attended a game? Some people need to grow up she has nothing to do with anything.

I think Romo does know his job and what it takes but until he and the Cowboys win it all he will be under constant heat by a fans who are into national enquirer mindset.

If people want to complain because he is at times careless with the ball or he is locking in on a WR hey that is fair game it comes with the job but who he dates or does not date is Tony Romo business no one else’s and he should not have to answer for it

As long as Tony dares to be the QB of the Cowboys, he will be an open target for brutal criticism. Comes with the job:starspin

This will be Tony Romo's defining season. I think he will come through and lead us into and through the playoffs providing our wide receivers and Oline issues stabilize.

I hope so I hate seeing him getting hammered like he has by the critics

I really do hope Romo comes thru and proves he is a worthy QB here in Dallas.

Ive had high hopes for him but last season was a eye opener for me.

I hope Romo doesnt turn out to be another Scott Mitchell.

Supposely this is a very talented team......and if this team is so talented.....then Romo needs to step up and lead this team......not just come along for the ride.

To me...it seems like he is along for the ride....when things go well....he is all fun and smiles....when things dont....he disappears....questions himself...etc

I just dont like hearing the things he says......he questioned the love of football before his injury....and his remarks after the Eagles loss shouldnt of been said at that time......

TO distractions or not.....Romo needs to play better and be a leader....the limelight will always be on him...it comes with being the QB of the Cowboys.
