Just re-watched the game. I think he threw better post-injury than he did prior to it. He looked like the old Romo with all the scrambling too.

That he is. Dude is a warrior.

And actually, he seems to elevate his his game some when he's injured.

All i know is I couldn't get off the floor for about 3 days when I did it and it took months before I felt even remotely normal. Now, about 18 months later, I can perform just about all of my normal activities, but I still know it is there...that is without surgery. I have no idea how he did what he did.

The dude is one tough S.O.B. To have suffered that kind of an injury (if it truly is the rumored herniated disc), then turn around and will the team to a victory, speaks volumes for his heart. I wish him the best in his recovery, we'll need him if we're going to make another run next year.

Has someone actually question Romo's toughness?

Sad thing is, when he was scrambling and making plays I was thinking "YES! We can win with this Romo". He wasn't over thinking things.

I'm wondering if that issue last summer was just merely a cyst being removed.

Seems to be a whole bunch of misinformation going around. I do not know what to believe.

I can't imagine how anyone has ever questioned this guys toughness. If you have then you're quite frankly a complete idiot. Flat out.

The guy tried to come back in against the Giants with a fractured collarbone. He played with broke ribs and a punctured lung. Sunday with his back finally having to give out from carrying this team all the time all he did was pick them up, put them on his bad back, and carried them again to a must win.

Denying how tough this guy is just makes a person look beyond stupid.

Same vibe I'm getting.

We were told it was an outpatient cyst removal procedure, now I'm hearing they were shaving vertebrae. Um, what?

I thought at the time he was missing a ton of time for having a cyst removed. Then I thought ok I'm no doctor & what I think sounds like a simple procedure must not be.

Now I hear ok he's out for however many games remain but oh wait he may play. Not so fast but he does have a herniated disc.

I'm not sure what to think. Somebody's lying or misinformed.

Maybe it stems from that Pinky injury in 2008.

Honestly, the guy is injured quite a bit, especially compared to guys like Eli Manning. Maybe that's the reason why some would view him as being soft.

I personally think he's as tough as they come, but I would like to see him be proactive in protecting himself by trimming a bit and bulking up in the off-season.

Even if Romo doesn't play this game-he is still tough as nails.

If that's the case then those same people must have thought Troy Aikman was a straight up wuss. Which, btw, would also make them look very stupid.

No doubt he's got the mental attitude.

I feel sad that the teams around him have been so short on talent.

Romo didn't invent toughness. 95% of those in the NFL are tough. And for less money and glory.

Statistically he is brilliant. I am sure he will retire with a great QB rating.
Meanwhile, life go on and we MUST start grooming a young QB.
"Another run"? You don't ax for much, huh?

I agree. What an amazingly gutty performance and CLUTCH. How ANYONE can continue to criticize this guy about 'winning the big one/winning in december/palyoff games' baffles me.

No one should question his toughness, but he has had some poor games in december/jan.

For the record, I've been asking for a young QB to groom for the past 3 years.

Don't think I've ever questioned his toughness. He's always played through tough injuries.
