How Romo has shown the ability to play with various injuries should show people that it is not just about the money to him it is about winning. No one could have blamed him after getting broken ribs and punctured lung had he sat out the rest of the 9ers game as well games afterwards and now the disk injury playing through it to help beat Washington and is doing all he can to get himself ready for Philly. This is not a man looking to just get a pay check this is a man who puts himself on the line to win.

He's got enough guaranteed money in that new contract that money is the last thing on his mind.

This is all true, he wants to win, he just isn't very good at it.

Do you honestly believe that Romo is trying all he can to play Sunday? There is ZERO chance he plays. That was all Jerry and Jason trying to make Philly prepare for both. I assure you that Romo is 100% not playing. Just accept the fact that Orton is going to be our QB and we need to root him on as fans. If Cassel could light up the Eagles, then so can Orton.

I think Romo is doing all he can to play, that does not mean he will but he did not go in for an Epidural injection for the fun of it. This disc problem did not just happen in past game it is just causing him problems and the epidural may give him relife

You can't be for real with this crap. The guy has the most come back victories in the league since he became starter. At some point the rest of the team has to do their part.

He has made mistake so has a lot of guys on this team yet he is the one you place all blame on Pathetic. You don't have a clue about this game just point at Romo and that is your madden version of football.

You know what's most frustrating? We'll never really know when it happened. I think that his "cyst" injury in the off-season was a lot deeper than the team was letting on. That would certainly explain his very odd play this year.

True and it would be easy for him during some of these injuries to say he can't go. Hell it is hard to just breath with broken ribs but Romo takes a shot to kill the pain and puts on protective gear to help cusion the blow and gets out there knowing damn well he is going to take some shot. This past game he suckes it up and keeps on going when it looked difficutl to turn to hand the ball off let alone scramble and throw. Romo is willing to put it on the line for his team and that should earn a lot of respect.

When did I ever say I place all the blame on him? Never have and never will. With that said, he is the guy who handles every single snap and has choked badly when we needed him most. All I can go off of is past history.

I don't know about frustration I never felt the team owed me full disclosure of an injury, I'm sure Romo knew exactly what was going on. As for the cyst I don't know if one has anything to do with the other

He doesn't choke no more then Brees, Manning, Brady, or other great QBs. Those other guys just have a team to pick up the slack when their QB has a poor outing. Romo has always played great in critical situations, though he will have an occasional stinker.

The thing is, you have noticed his odd play this year, yet many others say he is having a fantastic year. I'm on board with you, he has looked off this year. Missing deep passes left and right and he flat out has refused to run even if he has a wide open field. A lot less zip on the ball as well.

when have you? LOL most of the time you go on and on about Romo and it being his fault then point to 1 game the Commanders last season as the be all. Has Romo made mistakes yes but this team has let him down with their play more often than Romo letting his team down.

Well, he's putting up great statistics (never been much of a stats guy, myself), there's no denying that. But there's just something about him this year, he's just... different.

That is a big part of it. Romo throws a pick the defense does not stop the other team. Brady throws a pick his defense picks him up some with Manning. Winning is a team deal offense picking up the defense and defensing picking up the offense. Bad plays will happen how teams overcome the bad plays goes a long way in winning or losing a game.

Well, this wasn't meant to be a pro-Romo vs. anti-Romo thread, but it looks like it's turned into one.

The team including Romo, the coaching staff, and Jerry are all mediocre to bad.
